Frank de Boer‘s coat is on a shaky peg in the eyes of many supporters but there’s also supporters wishing for the Dutchman to remain. The management are in the same position, obviously with the added power of actually being able to do something about it. Part of the management insisted he stay on at least until Torino, suggesting Wednesday’s game will be the be all and end all for de Boer. Another part of the management have already decided they want him replaced as soon as possible. From Stefano Pioli to Marcelo Bielsa, the possible replacement list is growing by the day. After the morning training session, de Boer and the management will meet to discuss his future at the club’s helm.

we are dissapointed so far by the result because we expected too much. even before the season started we have already some problem.
1. New coach who don’t have experience in serie A, pre seasons, the players he wants, the language.
2. Some new player who don’t know serie A ; Banega & J.Mario. it’s need time to adapted and make a influence to our gameplay because they are Key Player. they need time to know italian footbal and another teammate.
3. New Management, the new owner absolutely come with different staff and rules, it’s always bring another problem to our gameplay and dressing room.
4. and some bunch of retarted and useless player..
the problem is not the coach, new player and new owner those already problem even mancini is still our coach.
I’m afraid if we kept sticking with FDB we would be fighting in relegation soon. I’ve been defending FDB since his first day. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any clarity and consistency with his philosophy. Moreover, his philosophy does not align with our winning DNA revealed by two grande Inters (Helenio Herrera & Jose Mourinho): catenaccio defense, deadly-counterattack, never-die attitude. Those DNA seem missing out in FDB’s philosophy. In fact, FDB knows nothing about catenaccio and counter-attack. His philosophy is total football. Bad luck this is Inter, not Barca. Still want to force the philosophy into Inter? Please recall Luis Enrique at Roma.
But I do agree, FDB should be given an extra time until winter break to prove that him and his philosophy could bounce back. So far, I haven’t seen we are heading intto better circumstances. After all, FDB is not ready for Inter. I blamed Suning and Thohir for this mismanagement. They should have rescinded contracts of zombies in the squad before hiring a new manager. We all know the zombie names.
With FDB, against stronger opponent we played decent game. Against weaker teams, we always look clueless and unmotivated. Although Eder said there is no language barrier, I’m pretty sure FDB barely speaks Italian and knows Serie-A game. How the hell on earth you manage and motivate the players without connecting deeply with them?
If FDB had to leave, Laurent Blanc is surely not a perfect candidate, but he is the best available option for now. Many fans forget that he is a former Inter star, speaks Italian fluently, knows Serie-A pretty well and had the experience managing PSG ‘stars’ with their gigantic egos. He tamed Ibrahimovic and suspended Serge Aurier until the end of season because of his social media unpopular posts damaged the team’s harmony. You can imagine what would happen to spoiled-brats like Broz and Icardi when Blanc was in charge.
Some people ask a caretaker to bridge the team into Simeone. Yes Simeone is the perfect candidate based on Inter winning DNA. Unfortunately, Simeone still has two years contract left (2018). No one can guarantee we would survive with FDB until that time. No one can guarantee Simeone would come to Inter when his contract expired. No one can guarantee Blanc would be another failure. Unless we want to create bigger circus with caretaker like Pioli, Guidolin or Bielsa.
We can blame the management for sacking Mancini 2 weeks before the season starts. I know many interisti on the past here we’re calling for fdb when we had Mancini, and I’m not saying I haven’t made bad judgement calls myself but this was a poor choice. Fdb has never played or coached in Italy… he just doesn’t know how to setup the team. Sure he beds youngsters but there’s a way to do it.
We should have gotten sinisa or vincenzo but those ships have sailed, I think the best manager to educate these players on what it means to be an interista is Mandorlini. His Verona played exceptionally above their level before their limitations started to show…
In any case if we don’t see a drastic change against toro I think it would be time to cut our losses and salavage the season. If mandorlini comes in now he will have time to fix the other end of the season… I mean if Mancini was top right before winter then lost a lost and we ended in 4th I can see mandorlini maybe getting us 3rd with some luck. The nucleus of the team is quality.
Let’s hope we don’t slump further, 10 points can be made up, 13 will be harder.
Btw Sousa and Fiorentina are doing worse than us and we don’t see talk of a sack. The Europa league losses were a real shame though
i feel like torino game would be decisive for FDB.. we are only 4 point from degradation zone.. i more lose we would be 1 step closer from the red zone.. i don’t think sunning can take more blow than that.. with the players look like a zombies that try to sabotage his team like last match, it will be very difficult situation for FDB. i want us to give him time until christmass, but if the game again torino we play like shit again.. then i’m not in his side anymore, some fans are dellusional to think what happen now is better than last season.. SMH.. last season we don’t have banega,, mario and candreva and where we are in the table in this month last yea!? if we enter the red zone, for sure we need a change.. maybe promote our primavera coach before we got a world class coach next season..
well for me
FDB ideas worked flawlessly against juve of all others we made fun of them for 90 minutes
FDB is a serious hard worker the way i see it if his ideas worked against juve it should work against all the others but the players arenot motivated every singe game the players seem like they are being pushed to play
For FDB is hard workers and most of our players are lazy and soon players like banega will join the train just like kondo last season he was a beast when he arrived and now he is zero
for me the management should interfere but not by sacking the coach start monitoring the players on the ground and punish every single lazy player who make simple mistakes like the kondo mistake vs bologna and the punishment should be salary fines and it should be private and not made public .
our true identity of players will appear then to three groups:
1- players who will become more motivated and give all to prove to the managment that are worthy to stay
2-players who could make problems to leave like brozo and perisic for example they dont care about inter
3- bad players who simply need to get their act or leave
this step for me is a must if sunning really wants to turn inter to a team like juve barca real bayern
if not then inter will stick with mediocirity and have a wonder season every 30 years
only then players like messi and ronaldo maybe consider playing for us because for me inter has special charm in them
and if this happen players like jamez will rodrequiz will kiss the ground when inter only notice them
if they sack de boar m done with this inter
14 years of supporting inter only witnessed 1 ucl semi final two quartes and 1 ucl trophy and thats it and 5 seasons in the calciopoly era
embarassing
hi guys i dont like to write comments , but i enjoy reading your comments
as inter fan since 98, i have to admit we are in a very difficult situation
we are loosing games we shouldn’t
have you guys noticed every time we lose the ball it is almost chaos or a goal
simple attacks turns deadly
we have a very good squad and if they are motivated we can challenge juve
but the problem is they dont care and are unmotivated
i dont think sacking deboer is a good idea, we have to stick with him no matter what
I don’t know what we can do now, I think everything is gone by now, so just bring someone, then in summer try to get simeone
lets have some fun with it. Make Matrix the new head coach. lol
he will kill our deathwood for sure.. LOL
From guts POV, he is the best guy to kick Icardi and Brozo-bitch in the ass cause these assholes need it more than anything.
I like your idea
JZ and Matrix would be great.
Those spoiled-brats immature kids will be crying in their Instagrams.
our problem is that that there is no cohesion between the players no matter the lineup we are using, I strongly believe this is because of the coach or a dressing room problem- we have quality in the squad.
Bring back hector cuper,,, he is the right man to teach how to create powerful defensive football
no..
What can happen if we stick with De Boer no matter what to the end oh the season? We can’t relegated to Serie B, the worst case scenario could be ending in the lower part of the table and another year without european football! I don’t think that would be such a big deal, compared to last seasons we have and our last performances in Europa League, playing in front of almost empty Meazza! Our fans just don’t care about Europa League, they only want to watch Inter in Champions League! But the risk can pay off big, if the players start slowly adapt to De Boer’s requirements, improving the play and we start looking more and more like against Juventus and Roma!
Not a single good people, on this very beautiful site, that full of brother of the world, that in deep passionate love with Nerazzuri, deserve this BIG LOOOOOOOOL!
De Boer is shit, he’s just an average idiot who doesn’t have guts to sub some bastard like Icardi. He can’t improve us.
Lol..you and your comment.. have you ever stop and try to listen how stupid you are??
What about Bergomi? He has so much of brain and guts. With someone like him assholes like Icardi and Brozo-bitch aren’t safe to jeopardize our team anymore
I prefer cambiasso if he has coaching license
That’s my dream bro.
Cambiasso is still playing football at Olympiacos. He hasn’t retired yet. Though he has said it’s his dream to coach Inter one day.
I think he’s done, I was a FDB supporter in the beginning because he was trying to propose offensive, attractive football. Unfortunately the results didn’t follow because we were not clinical and the defense was too shaky. Instead of improving there, the last two games FDB betrayed himself and tried defensive football. The least we can say is that it was a complete disaster. If he doesn’t win against Torino, he’s out. Blanc is the only interesting coach I see available. Bielsa is nuts and doesn’t play to win, but he surely knows how to play attractive offensive football. let’s see what management will decide but they definitely are too blame for all this mess, more than FDB !
Technically speaking Bielsa is the best, however, he’s a badass.
Bielsa’s nickname is El Loco aka the crazy badass.
I’m expecting bigger circus with him.
Well, it will be more INTEResting
If somebody thinks that Pioli, Guidolin, Mandorlini, etc. no name coaches with zero experience in big clubs and with players with huge ego are better choice than De Boer, just because they are Italians and “know better Italian football” are truly delusional!!! And I will remind all of you that, when you all starting to ask for their head after few poor results combined with ugly play! And what about foreign options like Blanc, Bielsa, etc.,which until get knowing the players and adapting to Serie A and the season will be over!
Crap we’re gonna get blanc
would probably be the best option until cholo comes
We need to stop experimenting with foreign couches (unless is Simeone but he wont come now). We need to get Pioli, he has won with Lazio and is familiar with the league.
Italian coaches didn’t do shit for us recently. From Gasperini, Ranieri, Stramaccioni, Mazzarri, Mancini – all were bad for us. Coach is definitely not the source of Inter problems, something is rotten in this club.
Everyone is to blame but the coach is at fault too. FDB has failed to get the best out of his players and week in and week out he loses tactically. Look at the last Serie A champions, all italian coaches except Mourinho (he plays defensively just like a italian coach)
an*
It’s not about being Italian or foreigner, it’s about brain and logic, which our coaches don’t have them. All of them are some stupid stubborns.
I think they need to find a coach that uses a formation that can be applied to the players currently in the team. This is not a team built by De Boer and it shows, and I wonder if he has the following of the dressing room which I doubt.
If we sack FdB there are only two choices for me. If we’re looking for a short term solution the choice should be Capello or maybe Pioli. If we’re looking for a long term solution the choice should be Blanc.
Leonardo isn’t even a coach.
Bielsa is a terrinle man manager when it comes to players with egos. And he’s too loco even for pazza Inter.
Mandorlini is just another Zenga.
Pellegrini
Blanc
Bielsa if he plays with 4 defenders
Leonardo or Pioli aren’t good enough.
put blanc first then pellgrini 3rd
I think he completely lost the dressing room. Plus the way he manages the players (eg. The way he criticised Kondo in the media) is awful and is not helping build reputation amongst the team.
I think his management of Kondo and Brozo cases may have affected the group even though they deserved punishment or to be subbed. Something seems to be broken
I agree with you. They deserved punishment but they didn’t deserve the media bullshit especially Kondo.
Sack him before it is too late!
he want to get one last raped by ljajic before he leaves
I don’t like the replacements
Changing coaches each year but these players remain and were even extended: Rannochia, Palacio, Nagatomo, Melo, D’Ambrosio etc.
Same thinking. Change Coach but the crappy players remain. Not even Pep or Simeone can win with this trash
Yes they can, besides we lost yesterday because of Mr. Smartass team selection not those guys.
Isn’t this the same team who were on top of the table until Christmas last season? Something went terrible after that, we don’t know exactly what BUT what am saying is we have enough quality players. If we use the right tactics suited for the players we have. We even added Banega, J. Mario, Candreva, Ansaldi and Gabigol to last seasons squad. We can’t say we have crappy players. We have a crappy management and coach. The biggest problem of De Boer is that he cannot motivate the players. They only play good when we are playing big teams (Juve and Roma). For this type of games players get automatically motivated. We need a coach who can motivate the players even against small teams like Cagliari, Palermo, Hapoel and others we played. You can see the players have zero motivation. Our players have mental and motivation problems.
I hate it when they a can’t win a single duel for long minutes. It’s like they’re playing on a hangover or smg
That’s a clear sign of lack of motivation. Loosing 50/50 duels and committing silly mistakes cause your head is somewhere else.
I’m sorry but if a coach has to motivate you inorder to play a sport hard every game, I don’t want you on my team… You get paid to play a sport professionally for a living and that your name is on the back of a team’s shirt, that should be enough motivation.
That’s the problem with having a team full of overpaid mercenaries. They don’t know the meaning of wearing the Inter shirt.
So you agree that the problem is the player?
It’s complicated. Yes we have unmotivated players who dont give a damn about Inter and yes we have a coach who can’t motivate them. So it’s both.
i will tell you what happened after Christmas…..THE ANNUAL JANUARY COLLAPSE! It happens to every coach that coaches inter. I will tell you what it is…..the players fly back home (most of them to South America) during Christmas and they party with no training and no responsibilities and them they come back and stop caring about soccer because they want to get back to partying………it’s not any coach’s fault when Inter “DEMANDS” respect…..fuck respect, move you asses and work for it !!
Yh could be true. We always had problems during those periods. Shit loads of injuries and other problems. What about something happened between Mancini and the players and he lost the dressing room. He had wife problems during that time if am not mistaken. He was always irritated. We can only guess.
nah…..he knew that after preseason this team sucked so he’s better rescinding his contract than getting fired it looks better on his resume
I totally agree with you bro. I think inter management would be wrong to sack him now. We need stability and changing coaches every year isn’t the way to go plus we keep basically the same usless players. How about sticking with the current coach who if you love football has a great philosophy. Never mind how we finish imo we would benefit in the long run.
The problem is that without results or Champion’s League, our star players will start to lock for other clubs and we will have a much harder time signing new ones. The positive side with keeping de Boer is that plenty of players want to have him as a manager, though there are quite a few other high-profile managers currently available who might bring results right now.
With that said, I think we should give de Boer at least a year from now to see if he can produce results after he gets to shape the squad according to his philosophy with two transfer windows. With the money from Suning we should be able to off-load the players above at any price.
Those guys barely played this season, only D’Ambro got some playing time.
Handa, Santon, Miranda, Murillo, Medel, Mario, Banega, Candreva, Perisic and Icardi are the players that played the most, and no one can convince me that we can’t get better results, than those we have, with this players..
That’s the problem, you can’t rely on your reserves because you have very bad players. Inter has a tight schedule with three games a week and then you can’t only rely on the players you named. These players will be tired. So, in the long term having such bad players in reserve will have negative effect on the outcome. So, for example in EL we played the first two games with the likes of Ranno en Melo etc. We lost badly. When Murrilo was injured we had to stick with Ranno. Plus when your first eleven you mention are out of form you also can’t rely on the reserves.
But we are losing games where our first eleven plays also, it’s not like we are doing bad in EL with reserves and setting the world on fire with our first eleven in Serie A.. We are losing points in almost every match, no matter who is playing..
I have heard this comments for the last five years man. I agree with you that inter should do better. We have a good squad for the firs eleven. We should win games against atalanta etc. Somehow, no manager seem to get these players going and manages to be consistent. I believe if we change the defence, and fix this we will improve our play and the attack will shine. Inter is just terribly out of form. Even attackers do not score the simplest chances and defensive errors let us down game by game. For example, penalty caused by santon or handanovic own goal. The slip up of kondogbia that led to a goal. I mean every week we concede because of personal mistakes. The real quality players are consistent and play high level week by weak.
But De Boer is our coach, barely from two months! I just can’t understand people who expects miracles happening overnight! That’s not the way things happen! I understand frustration of the fans, after another and another poor season after the treble, because at least I’m one of them. But we just making the things worse, losing patience and sacking coaches after few months or maximum after a season! The situation will never get better if we continue like this. I’m sure that now every coach on the earth will fail under that pressure insisting for results from day one! We need a project, carefully selecting the coach according to this project and fitting our needs, not by his name and his previous achievements! And sticking with him, give him enough time, no matter the results and the pressure from the fans and journalists who working for the interest of Juventus, Milan and Roma.
I’m not expecting miracles, I just expect that we don’t get totally outclassed by Atalanta.. It looked like they were playing against an amateur side.. I think that De Boer lost the lockeroom and once that happens, there is no going back. I just don’t think players are behind him and even if he is a good coach he can’t do anything without the believe of the players. And on top of that I don’t think De Boer can make it in Italy. When everyone was saying that we are looking good and that we are on a good path after Juve game, I said that we are not on a good path because our defence looks terrible, and you can’t do anything without a sound defence in Italy. I don’t think De Boer can set up a good defence and because of that I don’t think he’ll ever be succesfull in Italy.
And lets be honest, there is no project at the moment, Inter is just waiting 2018 and Simeone, and are hoping to get to CL because of the money. No matter what De Boer does, he will not be here beyond 2018.
Inter was actually good on the first De Boer’s games. We played way better than with Mancini. Suddenly the team stopped working. Maybe you have a point and there is a locker room issue. However i wonder why the hell don’t we try and play a 3-5-2. We’ve seen Medel playing quite good with Chile as a CB.
Handa
Miranda Medel Murillo
Candreva RWB Perisic LWB
Banega Mario (Brozovic Gnoukouri Kondogbia Jovetic)
Icardi (Eder Gabigol Jovetic)
I believe this is a very good formation looking on the players we have. Maybe this compact defense can win games, or at least will not be looking so vulnerable!
I think we don’t have time to try 3-5-2 now, De Boer tried it against Chievo and we got demolished. The back line of three takes time to start working and whoever tried it at Inter, failed. Although we didn’t have a good coach to try it. De Boer never used it and I don’t think he would be able to make it work.
We’ve played 12games this season and all of the players TheFlow named have had 4 or more appearances. That’s a minimum a 3rd of games this season.
I remember Rannochia, Melo and Palacio starting just some games in EL, and Rano starting a game when our other defenders weren’t available.. D’Ambro got some starts at the beggining and Naga got some unexplainable starts these last two games.. In majority of the games they didn’t play.
There is an explanation for Nagas two starts. It’s politics.
Perhaps the club put pressure on FDB to play Naga and Brozo. Mr. DeBoer gave the ownership/management what they wanted. H let those boys hang them selfs. IMO
Sack him, he lost the dressing room and besides this plonker bad news because in this league u have to have a good defence mentality.
