Inter have confirmed that Frank De Boer has been sacked as head coach after having only been at the helm for just over 60 days.
The club released a statement moments ago on its official homepage confirming that the Dutchman’s contract has been resolved and that Youth team coach Stefano Vecchi, will take over control of the first team for the Europa League fixture against Southampton.
Inter concludes the statement with “the latest developments regarding who will take over the First team will be communicated.”

Once they realize the problem wasn’t a player the management become a scapegoat for FDB lover. What a quality loser they are, they love to see this beloved team got beaten by minnows weeks in and weeks out. They are juve fans in disguise. Fvck them all!
they’re all hypocrite wankers and even called other people racist because we can’t blame fdb, those losers better to support psg or city they’re worse than zika virus
a shame..thanks FDB, good luck in other club, usually coach we sack be more successful in other clubs and hope for you too. and hope anyone who replacing you be in better position (praying hands)
PS: this is what we get when the leaders just be in Italy for ‘vacation’, err..how many times again they’d been there for the players? a day in a month?
WAKE UP!!
Thanks Franky, you already a legend..
for beer sheva fans
and sparta and we park the bus against mid table southampton
2006-07 we have the most entertaining team in serie A with Roma, and they said mancini tactic was boring
lmao right and we lost against small israeli team and unknown sparta then they blamed all of the players yep and some of them said we played like barca they love fdb more than inter
Since that beautiful treble, our management has always been a joke. It makes me so angry when i think about the potential we had after that treble! Selling the right players, buying right ones, choosing the right coach, we’d be the best now.
Yup instead they made all the wrong choice..years later, here we are today waiting to see who will be Inters coach yet again..I think this will be the 9th one right? I already lost count
Wow, I really thought the club learned something from their past mistakes but I guess I was wrong. First of all, firing Mancini at the end of the summer = classical Inter thing. We get a new coach, who by the way actually taught Inter to play some really attractive football (much better than what we played in the last several years), we give him the old coach’s team and then blame him and fire him when the results aren’t there. AFTER TWO FUCKING MONTHS.
A big portion of the fans are like mindless zombies and they are totally satisfied that FdB got sacked without having a clue why that happened in the first place and thinking that whichever coach comes next will make us champions all the sudden in the middle of the season.
I’m so fucking done with this club, honestly.
The End..
isnt hiddink available?he steered chelsea back to the right direction TWICE
Kinda agree, but mancini requested those shit players, so i won’t offer my apology to him. and we will not improve with this sacking, i actually think we will finish the season in the bottom half of the league, meaning the worst inter league position since almost 25 years
Those shit player mancini requested was only Melo.
even one legged toure is better than brozoshit and flopdogbia
I hate this “until Simeone come next season” mindset. Why don’t we just give a trust and hire a manager to build a team NOW?! There’s no guarantee that Simeone will leave Atletico next season and there’s no guarantee he will succeed in Italy with us
cause there isn’t any world class coach in their right mind would take this job mid season, besides there aren’t any world class coaches available currently
Our management showed again that they learnt NOTHING from FDB’s case. We lost on SUNDAY, but the sacking happened on Tuesday… it was the same case of Mancini all over again, they waited for the summer to finish, just to sack the manager.
I lost my faith in FDB when he started his stubborn Mancini-like behavior in choosing his starting lineup, and playing the likes of Eder, Palacio, Nagashit, and Brozobitch while having Perisic, Gabigol, Kondogbia, Gnoukori, JOJO , and Miangou at his disposal. But one thing that I will gaurantee to the fans that are happy here is the fact that we will not get out of this mess with this decision..
Forza Inter
to defend frank de boer a little, perisic and jovetic have done nothing when they were on the pitch, kondogbia is a mess, gnoukori is not ready.
even though eder is frustrating sometimes, he seems the only one who is putting effort. brozovic is playing for the simple fact of us not world class midfielders and depth. and regarding playing nagatomo well i mean like…..have you seen the fullbacks we have… they are all pretty shit, does it matter choosing one shit over the other, it doesn’t really bcz the end result is still shit
some solutions for inter’s management to get their jobs done better:
1. hire 38 coaches each year. this way you can sack a coach per game, with no problems whatsoever, and in case of winning some games, even save a few coaches for summer transfer window and pre season and the next season and…. .
2. since hiring 38 coaches for a full year costs a lot, hire them just for the matchday. after all, who cares about training? did fdb or mancini’s training save us? hell, that way we could even hire allegri and sarri to come and manage us for 90 minutes, and enjoy sacking them!
3. if that solution becomes impossible by coaches refusing to join us, we can improve and upgrade our plan by promoting our deadwood players as coach, and then sack them at first defeat -which literally will be their first game in charge-. imagine having melo, rano, naga and our other long serving stars dismissed which such a brilliant plan. isn’t it exciting?
4. there’s also another breathtaking plan in which inter can run a lottery each week and choose a fan as our new coach, and regardless of the result, sack him just before the next round, which i don’t recommend, because honestly i can’t afford the travel expenses to milan in case i’m selected.
5. invite journalists to all our secret management meetings, and charge them some bucks. since every word or decision inside inter hierarchy is leaked to the press before it gets mentioned, at least make some money out of it.
6. change the youth team’s contracts and make it mandatory for them to join juve, milan or napoli, in exchange for their deadwood 35 year olds, which we really know how to put comfortably on our bench. in that case instead of watching benassi or destro become stars at other teams and bonazzoli and bessa rot on some bench, we give them a good future and get a potential guly, coco or carini for our team.
p.s: have been an inter fan since 1989, and seriously thinking that at around 40, i shoud have better things to do than watch my favorite team do this stupid cycle of sacking coaches and initiating year zeros!
Good luck Frank. At least you don’t have to watch Lord Rannochia, Nagatomo, D’Ambrosio, Ansaldi and Melo week by week as we fans do.
Forza INTER…!!!
Yeah, me too. :-))
I’m with you
Long overdue he is a shit coach
And around we go again. FDB may not have been the best manager in the world but he was supposedly bought in by specialists who had seen his style of play, the type of players he likes, what he expects etc. They would have also known that he had virtually no time to prepare his team. Throw in the Icardi dramas and you have a classic clusterf**k. Who will be in next. Well our youth coach will take over the team for the must win match against Southampton then we will probably go the classic direction of an old school Italian manager to shore up the team blah blah blah. We may as well be Palermo. It is a joke.
The first thing Suning needs to do is to tell everyone at Inter HQ to stop talking to the media. It is like we are hardlined up to wikileaks. How can a manager be expected to operate when someone is leaking he is about to be fired every 3 seconds! It is embarrassing.
The fact that Simeone is being held up as some kind of Messiah is also worrying. Dont get me wrong, I think his mindset and playing style is perfectly suited to Inter’s historical style and should in all honesty be the style that Inter forms its culture around, fast transition, solid aggressive defense. But would he come to Inter with this disasterous management? He would be a brave man if he did
Its amazing how all the rumours were leaked and they were obviously accurate because FDB fired just as the rumour says. Suning some make them sign a new contract that they should not talk to the press when it comes to confidential things..
and my freaking rube fans-friend laughs happily in front of my face…good grace, LOL. if they can sack the coach, can we sack the management then? I just breathed calmly between 2007-2010 (just four freaking years since i knew football and in love for inter at 1998) Around that old times when we happily changing coach almost every year, and then since 2010 we repeated the same cycle…sigh…i want to catch my breath again…
Again, every time Thohir backs up a manager means that he will be sacked very soon
He took the UCL spot with Lazio. :-))
I will remember FDB’s Inter as very attacking and entertaining football. We had many chances almost every game.
shame the finishing like really suck, SMH
There are rumors about Pioli. What do you think?
Im Repect De Boer as a Human, but as a coach, he need more and more skills to be head coach in Italy. His Attacing tactic is awfull, also with his defend tactic. Shame Thohir with his choice to hire De Boer. Thohir Father is Past Away now, I Wish him RIP. Now Thohir should RIP form inter too.
It’s sad day for Inter as every day after Moruniho left us. I hate Mourinho from deep of my heart. And do not argue with me. Inter is average team from the moment when Mourinho left.
Guess Mancini had a couple laughs today.
Or since the start of the season….
De Boer had a reputation of being knocked out of Europe by the worst immaginable minnows during his spell at Ajax… Here, the playing style has improved seriously and yet we had the w0rst start in years. And we keep throwing blames, on the coaches, on the players… I personally think the management sucks.
I wonder what if Simeone ‘wouldn’t exist’, who would be our perfect manager? We are living for a dream, Inter is great only with superb coach (Herrera, Mourinho), and we are waiting for Simeone, like for a savior… and we even don’t know if he’ll come. Now what we will write in January, sack Blanc, sack Pioli?
Inter needs to do what Barcelona did with Pep, Milan with Ancelotti, Juventus with Conte, and now Real Madrid are doing with Zidane. We need to bring in a former notable player to coach Inter, specifically a champion of Inter. Simeone is by far the best option, but there are a few others I would consider for the role if he “didn’t exist”. First is Jürgen Klinsmann, who has been extremely successful with the US national team. The only issue with getting Klinsmann is his devotion to his current position, likely not wanting to abandon the project he started with the US to start a new one with Inter, at least for now. Next is Andrea Mandorlini, who proved he is capable of helping a team under a rebuild by bringing Hellas Verona from Serie C to Serie A, the only question being his experience with handling big player egos and the pressure of managing a club like Inter. Lastly, I would love to see Cordoba and/or Cambiasso manage Inter one day. For me, they are the two most tactically intelligent players Inter have had in recent times that also have the leadership abilities and desire to coach. I think Cambiasso in particular would make an excellent coach due to how often he orchestrated tactics while on the pitch as a player, needing only to translate it to instruction from the sideline.
Almost impossible! :-))
Mismanagement of the inter board in the past six years. When will we have some stability? I am not cheering right now. We are a joke and the media got what they wanted a total chaos at inter. And f*ck those underperforming players who have no heart for inter and only their pockets.
Ask the inter captain..
1. next coach come
2. still nothing changes
3. repeat 1&2 until Simeone arrives
4. still nothing changes
and finally they realize the problem is not the coach…
Yeah when inter fall to serie b 😀
well maybe, but lets hope not. cause serie B champion is just for rube only.
lol
June 2017, Scenario 1:
1. Atletico just won UCL
2. Their management will spend a lot of cash to build a dream team
3. Simeone is interested in that idea and he stays
4. But he says something like : “Inter is a special club and I would love to return as a coach.”
5. Our management buys that word and they only hire manager until
Simeone’s takeover
6. Bad results, no title
June 2017, Scenario 2:
1. Simeone leaves Atletico and joins us
2. Our management supports him by buying him high profile players
3. He has problem to adapt with Serie A (it’s totally different now with Serie A he used to know as a player and as Catania’s coach)
4. Some bad results with bad display (he’s a pragmatic coach like Mou)
5. Bad results, no title
6. Mancio calls FDB on phone and they laugh a lot
June 2017, Scenario 3:
1. Simeone leaves Atletico and joins us
2. He brought Griezmann, Koke, and Saul to Inter
3. He sold all of the mediocre players in Inter now and replace them with Veratti, Darmian, Ricardo Rodriguez, and Schar
4. Struggle in first few matches but he can fastly adapt cause he is Simeone
5. FInally we get a consistently performing Inter
6. get scudetto in first year at inter
7. Get treble in the next year
…
8. and finally I woke up coz it’s just a dream……
nope, stop licking fdb ass please he just did worse than mancini. inter will change after get new coach mark my word, if u can’t support inter please support city or other team or support fdb himself.
I guess then next year is a year zero. Or maybe the one after like 2018 or who knows 2020.
looks like we will be living year zeros for atleast another decade
Sack the this shitty management who cant even make right decisions. Inter has become a joke of a club and my friends cant stop laughing at me. :/
FUCK TOHIR AND FUCK AUSILIO
We will run out of coaches
Ausilio was against appointing FdB from the start. It was Thohir’s masterpiece
thohir knows nothing about football
Sack yourself m8
I dont know why people cheering with this news. Are you guys seriously think that problem will solve by changing coach?
I wish we can sack players instead… start from the lords and our capitan out of our camp!
honestly our main problem is in fullback and substitute players they’re all okay
Yope. The players are okay, in some cases like Banega, Handa, JMs, Candreva and Perisic they are top class players. But the coach can’t bring the best out of them.
Let’s prepare for sack pioli or blanc..
Better to prepare not to be an ignorant pessimistic fan.
Pioli and candreva had problem in the past .. it’s starting again ..#pioliout in January
The past is passsed
amen.
but we’ve try this, unknown italian, spain, old italian, young italian n own product, another italian, italian with history, dutch, n all successfully failed.
what einstein say bout insanity?yeah we try change situation by changing coach every year n mid year n hope different result.
look at Juve on they first season promote to seria A, they dont talk CL spot, they focus on project, create team can be done in one season it take stability n continuity. that wont happen if you change the coach like every year. that if we want seriously start our year zero
the players and inter itself is too big for frank this is why we need someone who can manage big team
I think a smart person can handle a big team. Just look at Allegri, he’s like a fox!
I dont think its the wise way.. everything was begun when wandaleaks happened.. they’re icardi and his manager the problem of all..
Disaster within our club, I was hoping to read that the suning appointed “xino” to be the new Inter president..
I hope they point morati or thohir as coach so we can sack him over n over again
LOL
this isn’t disaster i’m sure inter will change after appointing new coach and better results, management do what its neccessary and preventing inter to be relegated team
The disaster is what led them to take such action, the anomaly didn’t come from FDB, the new coach will prove this either right or wrong.
Thank you frank, gud luck vechi.
N big thanks to our great management for his concern to this club that make us going nowhere.
Wait, is it true bout pioli as coach?shit, congratz to you real interisti, once again you win guys. I guess now you already prepare for #fuckpioli
Finally !
Oh dear Lord, here we again… *sigh
The number of coaches we sacked lately is a lot more than our points in the Serie a standings .
At least he lasted longer than Gasperini 😀
