Corriere dello Sport have detailed exactly what went on yesterday morning before and after Frank de Boer was relieved of his duties as Inter boss: He was the only one not to know that his fate was sealed. And being unaware of what was going to happen, yesterday morning presented himself at Pinetina as usual at 8:30, with two and a half hours earlier than all ‘ exercise began. He went into his dressing room, he changed and began to prepare for the technical meeting scheduled at 10:30 in which he talked about the race tomorrow against Southampton. Frank De Boer was stopped around 10:15 by Ausilio and Gardini who communicated the news that all of Pinetina knew thanks to the newspapers and the Internet: his Inter experience was over. “The results were negative and Suning has decided to change” the way of speech. De Boer did not bat an eyelid: he returned to the dressing room, he put back on his clothes which he had arrived at Appiano in and spoke to the team. Not to tell them how to play against Southampton, but to greet them. With him were all the members of his staff, some with tears in his eyes. “Thank you for what you have done and the effort you have put in. I go out from this experience with my head high, sure I did my best. I wish you the best, but also with another coach in my place, but you must work together otherwise nothing will change.” The Dutchman and his men, before they left, personally greeted some players. The others, those who were excluded due to the data collected during training, basically ignored him.”

Watching Inter and reading its related news is better than soap opera!
True FDB made mistakes such as fielding the wrong line up and late substitutions. However, some of the losses were the fault of delinquent superstars. Lapses in concentration, missing goals, poor fitness….
FDB will enjoy success somewhere soon. For now the the head office and locker room need to get cleaned up. The next coach won’t have fun. If he is unsuccessful it wont be his fault. The blame is elsewhere….
The mistake wasn’t hiring him, the mistake was the time when he came. 10 days and one friendly match to prepare the team for a season surely isn’t enough. The other thing is, there is no chemistry between players. And, almost every experienced coach in Italy was able to beat him. Good luck FDB, maybe you’ll be decent in any other league than Serie A.
Lucky fdb still have 10days, can you imagine what will happen for the next coach?
I don’t agree with this sacking, he wasn’t given enough time
to be honest, he deserves to be on bench till winter…
“The others, those who were excluded due to the data collected during training, basically ignored him.” This last sentence explains it all. Players did not like him. He caused a rift in the locker room. Good riddance.
its crazy that he let us know through his brother that 7-8 players in the team were players he didn’t want at all, let me guess , kdog, Gabriel, rano, dambro, maybe brozo and murrilo and jojo?
His list was probably Naga,DDA,Jojo,Bia,Rano,Melo,Kdog and Barbosa. He had issues with Brozo but he was using him lately so i am not sure about him.
bia for sure
So all the shit players minus Kondo and Gabi.
Shame. Respect Frank
Shame…Respect Frank!
I really think Inter need to find a coach that will fit the players and not the other way round at this stage. This team was not De Boers but Mancini’s, the management at Inter have a lot to answer for, they are driving this club into the ground.
Best of luck wherever you go sir, you deserved better.
It is a small difference between love and hate and I am afraid that my love to Inter may turn wrong way.
but it will come back, ones u become interista u can never like any other club
Even your pills are blue.. I’m sure you’ll stay. Lol.
