This evening, Michael Bolingbroke resigned as chief executive of Inter, the club confirmed via a statement posted on the official website which reads as follows:
“F.C. Internazionale Milano confirm that the Board of Directors met this morning and accepted the resignation of Michael Bolingbroke as CEO with immediate effect. We wish him the best of luck for the future.
Mr Jun Liu, Vice President of Suning Sports Group, is appointed Inter CEO ad interim. Mr Liu takes over the day-to-day running of the Club from today and will be based at Inter’s head office in Milano. Mr Liu already sits on the Board of Directors of Inter.
The Club believes that the arrival of Mr Liu during this period will allow for a clearer and quicker decision-making process by establishing a direct link to the club’s majority shareholder Suning. A key part of Mr Liu’s role will be to act as a bridge between Suning and Inter, thus providing direct access to Suning’s vast corporate support network; After an initial phase of observation and understanding, the appointment of Mr Liu demonstrates a more direct involvement by Suning in Inter’s management.
Jun Liu was born in China in 1976. He obtained a masters degree at the University of Nanjing. He is vice president of Suning Sports Group, and has a wealth of experience in the sports management area.”

Great thing to get a man from the owners to Milan on a daily basis – that is excatly what we have lacked since Moratti sold. Hopefully the Liu-dude is a strong man, how knows (Italian)football/ european football enough to know what is needed at Inter!
The direct link to China is what was lacking the most at our club!
No, as Eusebio said, he was thought to resign last weekend when all the shareholders and the hole board were in Milan .. but he waited a week resolving the FdB/Pioli matter I guess..
Wow… Just wow.
Mr. @diego milleto 1… It’s just like you against all.
Hehehe
Btw, not so wise from you to call anyone whom disagree with your opinion as a fake interista..
Ohhh boooohooooo poor ceo bollingbroke lol fuck him
No this is fantastic news as look at how bad inters buisness was being run with bollingbroke as ceo,, terrible, , at least now a new ceo gives a fresh start
This is a very good decision as Bolingbrokes mind was not in being ceo of knter and from what iv read he had minimal interest In working at inter milan because of personal issues in his life as well as conflicting interests with suning group over business issues so with that said it is in inters best interest that we part ways with Bolingbroke and start frexh with the appointment of someone with a passion for inter and fresh positive energy to be ceo of inter good bye Bolingbroke and good riddance asshole
welcome, as CEO, mr. Kia Joorabchian.
Maybe mr. Liu should also add Mino Raiola as consultant, that would make a great “groupCEO”
It was known before start of the season that Bolingbroke would leave and be replaced from someone at Suning, why are you guys surprised?
It’s a mistake… Suning has no idea how to run a club. Tohir is better at this but unfortunately he has no $$…
Actually its negative fans like you alex that are making a mistake supporting inter milan if all you can do is disrespect inters decisions than piss off and support ac milan u idiot we need interista to support our team and management decisions im soo sick of all u so called inter milan fans who always on here talking shit about our club please if u don’t like what inter is doing fuck off u fuck wits u are not inteista
Lol.. I’ve been a fan of Inter before you probably were born. But that doesn’t mean that I’m going to support every single decision that the management makes. If we are where we are now, it’s because fans didn’t stand up to Moratti’s decision for not investing in the team after the treble.
Licking management’s ass doesn’t make you a better Intersta than me. Ok? 🙂
Poor guy, who knows he might be better off.. best of luck
Fuck bollingbroke the dick head
And u to u fake interista suning are going to make inter kings of Europe once again u will all see u fake fans
Interista el fake un a rossanorri fan un elintetista l
Ohhh boy replacing a world class ceo that was at man utd with a made in china version. Amazing. for me Bolingbroke has done some very good things around stadium organisation and revenue. Living in England people here rate him very high for his work in man utd. Sad he is leaving
He is not a inter man we need a ceo that likes inter milan
Actually since he been at inter he has been terrible please chech your factz he has done such a sub par job he should have been sacked before today what he achieved at man united could have been achieved by anyone as man united sells itself
Really. Raising the revenue by 20 mil and having the highest seria a attendance when the team is constantly underachieving is terrible job. Modifications on the stadium such as the family stand to drive revenue and increase and attract visitors is terrible. Maybe you should check your facts or should explain what you mean by terrible.
