There is a real possibility that Stevan Jovetić could return to his former club Fiorentina during the January transfer window.
Inter will evaluate a number of players in the coming weeks as new coach Stefano Pioli determines which players have a long-term future at the club.
Jovetić undoubtedly remains a player very much under the microscope.

He can make a good impact for 20 – 30 minutes from the bench, but will have to compete with Granpalacio, Gabigol, and Biabiany for that 1 spot. Too crowded.
I still believe in his difference making abilities.
As much as I wanted to see Jovetić succeed at Inter, it is a near impossibility at this point. To be honest, I don’t see him making much of an impact at Fiorentina either. He is the type that needs to be the focal point for the team, the center of attention, the main threat, etc., but he simply doesn’t have the talent, psyche, or work ethic to do so at clubs who have CL expectations, at least at this moment. He needs to follow a similar path to the likes of Ben Arfa, and humble himself by joining a team that has lower expectations, but enough quality for him to flourish, instead of repeatedly flopping at clubs that are too big for him.
