It has been two and a half years since the Ricky Alvarez case between Inter and Sunderland, CAS in Lausanne announced that December 9 is the date that the two clubs must present a hearing to dissolve any remaining doubts on the matter. The case, still unsolved, left a complaint with the Nerazzurri following the failure to respect the agreement by the Black Cats. Sunderland are obligated to pay the 10.5M price tag of the 28 year old, but the English side argue that the Argentinain arrived with physical issues, which violates the contract.

Nice. Although Sunderland is still obliged to pay up the transfer fee. It’s surprising how a first division club tries to weasel their way out in this fashion.
We suppose they could change their name to Underland.
Since this Alvarez saga, I wish they get relegated every season.
Haha that’s too harsh my man, let’s just wish they lose the case again and again and can finally respect the agreement and the federation force them to pay us our money.
Well…I would expect that clubs belonging to one of the best & biggest leagues would honor a contract they agreed upon, instead of trying to weasel out of it by citing BS reasons.
Inter need this money, as we paid 1.7M per minute of playing time for Gabigol.
Huh? Inter didn’t want Alvarez either, that’s why he was loaned out in the first place and he became unattached after Sunderland refused to purchase the player. Inter had numerous opportunities to get Alvarez back had we wanted him.
I’d just like to say it makes me so sad seeing Sunderland bottom of the Premier League.
Not.
FIFA has made a decision winning inter in this case a year ago, now they decide to do another hearing?
this is still ongoing ……
Let’s do this for another decade especially when Alvarez already retired
lmao, fifa is so lame, but this money is gonna make sunderland go bankrupt, they are doing so bad right now and are gonna get relegated also, that’s why they keep delaying it
and they should also be sued for delaying the payment, after all we are getting the money finally, they should have no say since alvarez plays regularly for sampdoria and its injury free
