The first update regarding Gary Medel is out. The defender who left the field of play 37 minutes in is thought to have sprained his right knee. In the coming days he will be further evaluated to give an exact diagnosis.

How long does sprained knee take to recover, it’s taking me ages to rocover from groin sprain.
That doesnt sound good, even if it didnt look too severe.
Will probably be out until after christmas then.
Not good with such a difficult schedule coming up.
He looked fantastic as a CB in the 37 minutes he played, we fell apart instantly after he was subbed off. I’d use him as a CB with Miranda from now on with Brozović, Joao Mario and Banega in midfield. It’s a very offensive midfield but Kondogbia is just not cutting it right now to be a starter. Maybe if we get a Luiz Gustavo like player in January to play as our defensive midfielder.
