Muqing Wang, Chinese 34 year old leader of the Communication Department of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee Beijing 2022. Was interviewed by Corriere della Sera about both Milan clubs, these were his word:
“Me? Milan fan? To be honest, with my Olympic role I’m a man of government. Truth is that I like both teams. Giuseppe Baresi once I met him and signed me a ball and a Nerazzurri shirt; I know that his brother Franco was stronger, even in China he is famous.
Wang explains that Milan and Inter in China are the most loved club from forties because the state television began broadcasting the Italian league in 1987:
“We have there a solid base of supporters, which is why our entrepreneurs have invested in two teams of Milan.
