Gary Medel is to have surgery on his knee injury he suffered during the derby on Sunday Premium Sport report. The defender will hopefully be able to make it back in time to face Udinese in the first game after the winter break. Medel’s injury created another problem for Pioli ahead of tomorrows Europa League game where he is already short on numbers due to registration rules and other injuries.
