Inter are now officially knocked out of the Europa League! It is evident that there is still much work to do for Pioli after Inter’s disappointing loss against the Israeli side, Hapoel Be’er Sheva. Stefano Pioli analyzed the knockout tonight in the press conference.
How do you explain the difficulties in the second half of the match? What happened?
“We stopped playing as a team and we were cocky. It must never happen, we can not afford to do that.”
Why the second half so negative?
“We had the ball possession, but we did not deliver. We must work to stop granting the opponent the possession on certain occasions.”
What was the most obvious problem?
“The result of Prague does not matter anymore. We can not play with two faces. The first half we played very well, but badly in the second half. It would have been sufficient to have the same attitude. From the physical point of view we have, even at the end we tried. We will have to improve. The past does not count, today we can not be satisfied with our work.”
Why so many goals conceded tonight?
“We are working on all fronts: physical, psychological, technical and tactical. A team that does so well in the first half does not offer a shoot like that. We have players of great value, but we must also be good at suffering. This night I we played Inter.”
At one point in the match, you realized the team was giving up?
“We lowered too much, and so we gave Hapoel the field. I changed something to recover the balance that we had lost.”

just my 2 cents for idiots that think fdb was not the problem, this inter was way dif than the inter that played the home game, in the home game we were humiliated and it could of been 0-4 for sheeva, now in this game the first half we were running the game, in the second they heard about the sparta game and lost faith + their goals was penalty and we got a keeper sent off, so at the end it could go any where how we sent all mens forward, big difference
Just stop bullshittin the players and the coach!
In these last two game of EL, we took the lead, had a good first half, then the things torn apart in the second. The reason is obvious, PHYSICAL PROBLEM!
We had an awful summer and in EL our team is crippled because of FFP.
U guys are bullshitting Pioli for starting with Melo and Naga, but who the hell did he have on the bench!? NO ONE!
And don’t tell me bullshits defending FdShit, with that guy we weren’t even able to take the lead against these teams.
With Mancio at least we did something cause the defenders played well, but since Murillo lost his spirit we are doomed.. meaning we urgently need 2 FB + a solid CB as well.
Less big wages and more bonuses for results, then you will get your motivation.
i wonder how stramaccioni brought us to 2nd phase just with primavera player.
we must do something,we need players from chinaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
new bloooooood
Yes, indeed. It’s mental issues right on their heart and head.
Still underestimating and then just slumped if the opponent score, after that have no intention to maintain to get back on the track.
hey miranda, how about LEAVING INTER ???
you play like a SHIT, you are not any sort of reinforcement, you brasilian IDIOT !!

andreolli, please LEAVE THIS CLUB and
PLAY in some good team/club,… are you really THAT stupid ?¨?
I didn’t want to watch this game. sparta and hapoel are two top world class clubs with so many messis in their team… we are just a young and perspective club compared to those giants. 3:2 is a very good result for us !
and there it is, de boer dine with mancio, laughing..
I do not dine, just laughing.
you have to learn something sir: just with one of Rano, Melo, Dumbo, and Naga, you will never get 3 points. And you fielded 3 of them?!
And De Boer was the problem, right ?
The players here are the problem and the soft management. They let players get away with everything they do -_-
We have become a joke.
yeah he sucks he lose against israeli team at meazza what a shame mediocre coach
One name: Murillo.
He was showing enough determination to dethrone Lord Frog very soon.
Two goals (first and third Beer’s goal) conceded because of his awful positioning.
The first one was on Miranda, not defending Murillo at all because the third was his fault but the first one it was Miranda’s player that scored.
Actually it was also Murillo’s fault. His late positioning made the offensive trap failed thus Beer’s crossing got converted as an easy header. You can watch the highlight again. To be hones, Miranda was declining since the last two games. He got tired physically and mentally.
Seems like Santon is the only one that Miranda doesn’t have to cover for because unlike the other 4 he doesn’t stray far from his position (meaning he doesn’t drift into the middle of the field unless he’s covering for one the idiots mentioned).
We need to replace Murillio badly.
Miranda is fairly good but he’s not that masterpiece defender we make him to be. Even at Atletico he did quite some mistakes here and then.
Generally very good but if he hadn’t been in an hardworking agressive team like Atletico his mistakes would have gotten noticed way more.
I think the real problem is on the players… not the coach. They dont hqve winning mentality. Slacking off after 2-0 win away at 1st half?? Teams like barca or real will even punish the opponent and score more goals. Damn! Starting to lose hope,
we have seen it all, nothing would surprise me.
I don’t know how many coaches can’t understand, that they have to avoid fielding D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Melo, Nagatomo, etc. at all costs! Where was the problem to play Miangue and Gnoukouri, instead of Nagatomo and Melo? We could lose anyway, but at least we will give our youngsters some chance, not looking dreadful Melo, who looks like amateur player!
Add murillo to the list
Melo wasn’t the cause of anything today, although I do agree he’s hot garbage.
They are crap players, i agree but you miss something here. First, we don’t have quality substites of them. And second, the main problem is mentality. In first half all of these players were good and barely gave chances to opposition, then suddenly in second half they dropped.
There really should be some serious punishment after this. Take a week salary from them and field primavera for the next game, we are gonna lose anyway, at least this way we’ll see some kids playing with their hearts..
We just can’t continue like this, we’ve became a laughing stock and this players don’t even care about that. This team is completely spineless.
Fuck it sign all of these motherfuckers on 80% of the salary being performances bonuses. Make them work for it. Oh if we could only do that, it would’ve been great.
naga, melo, rano, dumbo, better to release them for free, cut their contract. fuck about their sale value. they have no value. they are not even running, because they running without brain and heart for this club.
Inter was release vieri, adriano for free, and was cut the wage sneijder, lucio, J cesar. they are all our legend, but why inter even still paycheck for this clown.
