If the recent reports are to be believed then Inter hierarchy has postponed the extension talk by March.
According to Rome based CDS, Suning is planning to talk with Ausilio in March while there have been interest from foreign team for him.
Meanwhile there have been few rumors suggesting that Walter Sabitani who recently left A.S.Roma might also take the hot seat.

Cant put all the blame to him for this year though. Too many confusion in this year, including the kia guy
A sport director is responsible for the results of the club created by the coach (we’ve had 3!!! so far) and by the players (we are out of EL already and the cal ticket is gone)! In that sense I don’t really think he has done a great job!!
He didnt succeed in “pleasing ” Maninci creating chaos before the start of the season, he overspend money on Mario, Kondogbia, Jojo, Melo, Gabi-bench warmer and didn’t do anything to fix a bleeding defense….
Two directors are better than Ausilio and one of them is Sabatini the other is Leonardo!
if only Ausilio have the ability to sell players and not only buy new ones.. our team would be without Dumbo, Rano, and Nagashit..
It’s not that he can’t sell it about that no one wants to buy rubbish. If you go to a market and try to sell shit you won’t even succeed even if you sell Β£0.10 with buy one get one free promotion π
Well, Sabatini is a very good sporting director, so I am not going to really be disturbed by the news if he arrives. If Ausilio stays, then more power to him. Sabatini is known for finding good italian players and I hope he does the same for inter if he was to come.
Ausilio has done a great job so far, especially when we consider our FFP limitations of recent years.
Btw, if we even had Messi, he couldn’t have performed with all these turbulences inside this club.
All in all I don’t think Ausillo has done a bad job, but think it would be good for Inter to part ways with him. Sometimes it seems like there is this small team mentality at Inter. It’s about time management decides whether Inter should continue being a retirement home for “has beens” (and some “never beens”), or if Inter should be the great competitive club history has shown it can be. Enough of the cheap solutions where mediocre players are bought hoping that they turn out to be stars in disguise (which they never do) – There are too many players at Inter who continue to disapoint year after year and nevertheless keep on playing under every new coach. Fine that money is spent on a player like Gabigol, but what’s the point if he isn’t played? How can he get used to Serie A sitting on the bench? And why do we still not have proper full backs? This is commonly agreed to be one of Inters biggest problems. And what is done about it. Not much. So maybe it is time to get Aussilo replaced with someone who can come up with a real strategy, and not just some random budget purchases for crucial positions that haven’t really had an impact. I’m a long time Interista, so I’m used to suffering, but this situation is getting out of hand.. Forza Inter per Sempre
