Pioli spoke to the SKY microphones after Inter was outperformed by Napoli on Friday night. Here’s what the Inter coach had to say:
“We have to read situations better. Today the problem was the approach to the match. Up until tonight, we’ve never had a problem. To go down two goals so early and in such a fashion made things difficult for us against a team who’s strongest ability is to hold onto the ball. We created lots of chances to get back into the game but we weren’t clinical. We have to win as many matches as possible. Today, we clearly had difficulties. We have to be more of a team. It’s a step backwards.”
On conceding two goals early on, Pioli said, “A team with personality doesn’t go down two goals after five minutes. The opening of the match was difficult, and ultimately, the game was decided there.”
When asked where Inter are at the moment, the Inter man said, “Right now, our balance is thin. Our opponents are scoring goals with ease. The first goal simply had to be covered better. I don’t think we regressed offensively; Icardi and Perisic had many chances to get a goal or two back. We have to stay in the match. Head and body. We made errors that a team who wants to go far should never make.”
“Do I miss someone like Biglia? The team’s characteristics are as they are. It’s my job to exploit these characteristics to the fullest. On Zielinski’s goal, we had two players that should have arrived before him. Kondogbia? He’s more suited for a midfield of two rather than three. He’s on the border where he’s almost not a youngster anymore. During the week he was giving me great signals, otherwise I wouldn’t have played him.”

And people were unhappy with De Boer. I hope this Pioli does good but what can you expect by a coach that got fired from Lazio which has been average at their best.
I can close my eyes before the switch of Ranochia with Murillo, even Santon with D’Ambrosio or Ansaldi since he plays the both wings and certainly he was playing way better until Pioli came and put him in the bench. I can close my eyes before this clumsy play which sends me back to the Mancin&Mazzari era since he has had only a few games.

Brozovic is Guarin 2.0. At least Guarin was more physical and sometimes would do good in the defense part. Brozovic just fucks up the play everytime he touches the ball.
Joao Mario is top class midfielder and you start Brozovic before him ?!!!
With De Boer I had hopes because he was playing the most of the right players, he was practicing a football that was not only beautiful to watch but also effective but it was his bad luck to deal with dickheads like Brozovic,Kondogbia etc…
Now we are stuck with a coach who plays from wings only and roots to the bench the best midfielder of the team. This is just BULLSHIT.
in the last 2 match Pioli always put Kdog and Brozo in starting line up and subs Kdog with Mario. it means Brozovic is his first choice and then Kdog, and 3rd is Mario. this is absolutely fucking awful choice, J Mario is the only one who definetly 1st choice.. damn..
Well may be we should have not tried playing high pressing in the first minutes as we are not ready. Two passes of napoli and they were 3 against 3 in front of the goal. Maybe we should have stayed further back waiting for the first minute euphoria to pass and then approach them on fast attacks. But hey who am I? Hopefully we will get better.
