Roberto Mancini is back in the headlines after advising former club Galatasaray to sign Inter central defender Andrea Ranocchia.
The 28-year-old was a player Il Mancio had wanted during his own spell in charge of the Istanbul giants; now he is back in their sights as they seek a new partner for Serdar Aziz.
Mancini also explained the reason why he allowed Ranocchia to leave on loan last season:
“I wanted Ranocchia when I first started coaching at Galatasaray. He is a great player, though last year Miranda and Murillo were both playing very well and it was diffciult for him to get into the team, so he preferred to go on loan to Sampdoria. If I had stayed at Inter, he would certainly have found a place this season.”
With his dominant aerial presence, Mancini is sure he would thrive in Turkish football.

yes yes, but you´re right in one thing about the training games compared to today’s games: the “I don’t give a rats ass about this club-attitude” we saw back then is the same shitty attitude we see in every single of the “smaller games” today… THAT’S our real problem!
No training games do not show anything – and you know this aswell! Especially games played straight after a Coppa America+Euros tournament where literally ALL our best players played and therefore were still on vacation when the team played the games we lost.
wow , i didn’t think Mancio hated Gala that much.
Uhh.. Maybe Mancini could assist Ausilio in off loading players? (I´m really starting to miss Mancini whom I never “hater” like others in here, not even when we lost all our training games this summer).
he still love inter
I’m seriously beginning to think I’m not watching the same games as Mancio and every other Inter trainer who has continued to play Rano and Naga?
thank you mancio, i think you should recommend nagatomo, mello, d’ambrosio, palacio, or even ansaldi too ^^
Lol. If he do that i will start #mancioback. Lol
Thats good mancio. Why dont u reccomend nagatomo too? Lmao
