After being linked to numerous clubs last summer Marcelo Brozovic has signed an extension with Inter. The midfielder’s new contract will run through 2021 with an annual salary of €2.2 million net of taxes per season, the new deal also features an exit clause of €50 million valid only for clubs abroad. Inter is looking to the future by locking up one of their midfielders.

The exit clause means nothing, its only there if by some miracle Brozovic develops into a world class player, which isnt very likely.
Inter would obviously sell him for a lower fee right if an offer arrived.

Brozo has been doing well for club and country. We know he has to improve his short passing game but for the rest he shows good quality and at times great finishing.

Maybe now, but thats the same mentality Roma had with Pjanić. Who will pay €36m for him. And bam, he turns into one of the best Serie A midfielder and Rube get a great deal. We can still normally sell Brozović to any team in Serie A, it just means they can’t rip us off in case he gets really good.
