He wanted more money & to sign older players. You don’t build successful teams by constantly buying old has-beens. You build young and from within. Doesn’t take a goddamn genius to figure it out.
Pioli isn’t going to be any better. Di Francesco would have been perfect. Sometimes you need to deal with the growing pains of younger players, but unfortunately they don’t get a proper chance unless it’s “oh shit we need a player” moment which has been Inter’s problem since Moratti took over the team…
every coach would have been good for us if we take a look at their previous reputation. but here we are inter, the one we choose who must conquer not just the players, but also the fans and the management to give him the full trust. like mou did, i think. and the rest, pfft..don’t give them too much hope
