Spoke to the microphones of Lazio Style Radio on the occasion of Christmas dinner of Lazio, the Biancocelesti defender Stefan De Vrij expressed the importance of the two games against Fiorentina and Inter, that will close 2016:
“We will end the year with two good teams. I love Pioli, but I want to win! We hope that in the end to smile both myself and not him (laughs). But first we think of Fiorentina, we want to close the year well”.

Hopefully his love of Pioli can draw him to Inter. I’ve always liked De Vrij, and if not for his injury last season, he likely would’ve ended up at a huge club already. Luckily for Inter, that gave us just enough time to have a shot at grabbing him. He’s a very similar CB to Miranda, and can also play in both a 4 and 3/5 man back line. He should be made a priority, not overpriced players like Lindelof or players who have no desire to come to Inter like Sule and Marquinhos.
