Juventus are very much in the race to sign a trio of youngsters currently impressing in Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta side.

The Bianconeri’s interest in Franck Kessié has been known for some time, though there is competition from Premier League clubs. Atalanta are asking for more than 22 million which could deter Beppe Marotta and co.

However, according to Sky Sport 24, Agnelli’s club has stepped up its efforts to sign Mattia Caldara and Roberto Gagliardini. AC Milan, Inter, Roma and Napoli are all known to be interested in signing the pair too.

Atalanta are prepared to meet each individually and will eventually decide who to sell to based on which players are offered in exchange as well as the transfer fee. Their idea is to reach agreements now but keep the players until the end of the season.

The expectation is that Juventus will manage to sign at least one of the three players in question.
