In 2017, once Inter is officially and completely out of Italian hands, the club hopes to give Inter an Italian core on the pitch.
According to Quotidiano Sportivo, Inter are interested in Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi and Domenico Berardi of Sassuolo to reflect their new direction.
Both Sassuolo and Fiorentina have blocked out Inter’s interest, however, Zhang Jindong and his office will return in the summer in full force for the Italian duo.
Inter are also keen on Atalanta’s Andrea Conti and Mattia Caldara while also keeping Perin under a watchful eye once Handanovic departs.

We have Caprari and DiMarco on loan (both Italian and at least 1 should slot straight into our starting xi), while Gabigol is wasting away on the bench (play him instead of Candreva-he has a higher ceiling). And now we’re thinking about ‘going all in’ for 2 overrated Italian players whose clubs will inflate the price for to astronomical figures

With PSG after Perisic and possibility to miss another CL, i think it’s not excluded to loose him in the summer. Candreva is 30 years old and he could play on high level no more than one or two season more.

Bernadeschi is a much better player than Perisic and Candreva would be the perfect mentor for Berardi. Gabi if he gets his shit together, could play behind Icardi or on spthe wing in stead og bernadeschi
Yeah no, Bernadeschi is no where near as good as Perisic and Candreva. Candreva is the best Italian winger when he plays for NT and Perisic is the best play of NT when he plays there. Bernadeschi isn’t even a finished product.
The only problem is that Inter is a complete mess and even great players like Perisic and Candreva can’t show their best.. Hell even Miranda looks average when he is surrounded with average players.

Yes I agree with you – Bernadeschi is much younger than Perisic but has the potential to far over do his level in a couple of years. Candreva’s great not getting any younger and true we need defenders and a def mid ASAP
I don’t think Bernadeschi has that high of a ceiling but we’ll see. We really have two high quality winger in Candreva and Perisic, excellent striker in Icardi, great midfielders in Banega, Mario and Brozo, great goalkeeper and one very good defender, but our fullbacks and not having a real holding mid is really killing us.. Even so, we really should be doing better.

what?! His good performance just came this season, and not yet to be finished. Look at Ansaldi, how he produce a decent performance on Genoa, but flop during until now.

Not true, Berna had his break trhough last season – playing mainly as a winger. This season he’s played mainly in the middle behind the striker, the same pos as he has played for the national team and he has showed what a great talent he is!
He´s not a finish product no, but he has so much potential and is Italian – excatly what Suning’s after! I’m all in for the “make Inter more Italian” idea!
