Melo spoke to Inter Channel after today’s victory where he spoke about the win:

“I thank God for this victory, we wanted to win and we did. There is still a difficult game left before Christmas that is against Lazio. Earlier we lacked malice but now we are proving that we have it with proper quality. But then again, you don’t always win because of quality, you need to play with heart and put all efforts into the game. Recently we have shown that.”

Then he said a few words about his red card:

“I am angry about the red card. On the first time the player gave me an elbow charge and I don’t want to talk about the 2nd occasion. The ref was wrong but it can happen with any human being. The important part is that I played my role in team’s winning.”

Then he was asked about his compatriot Gabigol, on which he replied before signing off:

“He has quality, it is normal for Brazilians to take time before adapting in this league. I have seen his quality in training and I am satisfied. He has played today and has been booked, that shows his desire to help his teammates. Congratulations to him.”
