Pioli seems like a good solution for Serie A this season. His trial of fire has been better than expected so far, we got 10/15 points(3w 1d 1l) with him and the teams we played were Milan, Fiorentina, Napoli, Genoa and Sassuolo. We also kept a clean sheet for 2 games in a row, which is nice. As far as today’s match
goes, it was a typical Inter match this season. Tons of great chances, from Candreva hitting the post to great atempts going few centimeters off target to their GK being even better than usual. It was a well deserved win, but you still have that bitter taste because we wasted so many chances.
Joao Mario was great yet again, him and Brozović are linking up very nicely in the midfield. Melo was better than expected, at the start of the match I was in doubts but he had a great game, until he got the mandatory red(which thank god was 2 minutes before match ended).
We got 6 points in the last 2 rounds while some of the top teams played each other, gained some points in the chase. Gabigol got to play 4 minutes, we might want to rest him next game.

Nope…Another test for Pioli is in January campaign. Transfer move also crucial. It’s just another hype when Inter under De Boer win against Rube.
Juventus was 1 game, this is for a span of 5 games. Don’t forget that Pioli also didn’t even have the 2 weeks De Boer had, even if that was already way too short. I never said Pioli is the man to take us to CL, just that so far things have been good.

A win would make us closer to EL and of course UCL, but with Joao Mario being suspended and Melo’s dismissal, he only has Kondogbia or Gnoukori (I don’t know if the latter is available). Playing Brozovic and Banega as the center midfielder is too risky because both of them are far more offensive. Too bad Perisic should have scored twice with only the goalie to beat. Pioli must start to involve Gabigol more. Perhaps he can be played as a strater in Coppa Italia fixtures.
