Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva has agreed to Inter’s loan proposal a report on gianlucadimarzio.com states. The Brazilian’s contract runs out in June and if he performs well, Inter could sign him on a permanent basis upon his release from the Reds. Liverpool too have given the “ok” to the deal for now while they try finalise the details. The report further states that Inter have not given up hope on landing Luiz Gustavo, even if the Wolfsburg midfielder is not willing to accept the loan move.

that ugly bitch at the party that you are trying to avoid and keeps lurking
a better version of Melo- could work!
Guys, the decision to bring Lucas is one of the smartest decisions ever made. The only box-to-box CDM we have is Melo, whos performances are not consistent at all. Medel will never be used in this position under Pioli, he will only be used as CB. Lucas is a steady performer, he never had a bad game in Liverpool. All the coaches praises him. The only issue is that he became injury prone, and this might affect his performance in Serie A.
Think they will use this as a cheap and experienced backup option. Guess he has similar characteristics as Medel, Mascherano and Cambiasso in that he can cover DM, CM and CB. This would if so allow us to focus the money on an FB and maybe dont even need a CB this winter (get quality in summer when we have a budget).
shit it’s GDM, i dont understand what was inter thinking
okay, now we know its dry loan..
now, tell us about the wage cut. How many will Lucas receive from Inter
Gosh, how many “the same footballers ” inter needs ?!?!
only runners, not a single CREATOR OF THE GAME !
hey inter, football is the art of playing the game at the pitch not only running …
It is hard to find regista nowadays man
how about rakitić and not james ???
Rakitic is not deep lying playmaker or regista mate, he is b2b mid
I respect you opinion, but I believe that smart coach can make wonders with skillful players. I don’t think you know rakitićwell. he was playing that more defensive role before…. one can call their positions as one wishes (I really dislike all those “smart titles” given to players : for instance, what is messi’s role ?!?! he simply plays football as it should be played at each part of the pitch he comes onto 🙂

inter should GO FOR RAKITIĆ from barca as a creative midfield player. ( juve is looking at him…) !! he would make perfect trio : rakitić + mario + banega = the greatest creative potential !!
he is no runner , i prefer melo
your comparison to melo is correct.
btw. thanks palmeiras ! 😉
Our target for midfielder in this winter mercato is really bad. Why no focusing for full back instead..
A cheap solution, instead of buying good or overpriced DM, we go for a loan for half year. Just hope we invest all we can spend in a fullback like R. Rodriguez and Biglia…
God NO!
Luiz gustavo wont accept dry loan, lucas leiva is willing to accept dry loan. Well, that explain who the better player is
Yeah who is best for us? The guy that is willing too accept a free lone and that can bring Inter some protection too our CB and plays 83% of he’s balls forward and is the third choice in the CDM position behind Emre Can and Henderson in a good Liverpool..
Or the guy that won’t accept a free lone and put Inter in a hard position because of FFP.. That will say if Inter break the rule one more time the risk too be expelled from EL or CL is 80% serten.. And get a player that does plays only 64% of he’s balls forward and lose more duels and is first choices in a very bad Wolfsburg..
With that said Lucas is not a star player but nither is Gustavo..
Luis gustavo is better player than lucas leiva. The best is depend to what our target is. If u still believe in top 3 signing lucas leiva is not the answer. Lucas leiva is mediocre player, but i do hope if he sign him he will turn out to be good for us, but i wont believe for top 3 anymore
Same goes for Gustavo both as a mediocre player and we will probably be expeld from CL or EL.. in my opinion we should get Diarra but Lucas for free fine.. He is underrated and Gustavo overrated.. but too be clear I would like Diarra as a short solution..
I dont know man. Those names dont make me excited
They don’t make me fly either but if Inter does not bring in €25 mill in January from sponsors or sales the FFP will not be happy.. So if Suning does not bring in a miraculous sponsor that will bring in a lot more then €25 mill in January we will have too look on the lone solution too the summer if we don’t want too risk Europe play next year..
