Melo is already 33 and is walking red card. Leiva is better passer and also knows how to protect the back 4 and nothing more. He looks like worst Tiago Motta. I wouldn’t mind him, he is definitely an upgrade over Melo and Medel for this spot.
He is injury prone and a bit slow thou.

this recent Inter’s transfer from premier league was not so good. Podolski, Vidic are bad. Jovetic was good but not that good. Osvaldo good but going ended badly. Medel just decent. so my opinion is ” Not that so good”.
