According to reports from Rai Sport, January 6th is the deadline for the renewal of Napoli’s Dries Mertens. Apparently, the Belgian international could sign without a buy out clause to avoid the risk that several foreign clubs like Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Wolfsburg and also the Chinese can buy him. Inter have been keeping a close eye on the situation and also demanding information for the former PSV Eindhoven.

he can murder any defence in the world
this should be the 3rd season in which I read rumors linking him with our team, at the end nothing happens but he definitely has the quality-
we should have signed him when he was so unsatisfied at napoli always being benched and just subbed in… i never understood it…
but these days are over… now the train is gone for us^^
If he doesn’t extend with Napoli he would be great for a free transfer in the summer.
Going from Napoli to inter currently would be a downgrade for him though and Napoli have a much higher probability of reaching the CL this season.
He will be 30 by the end of season, so not a player that would be worth spending on if he does extend.
he IS a good player !
he is insane good
Make it happen please!
Underater player. better than insigne imo
Insigne is poor mans mertens
