Sky Sport 24 report that Inter have rejected an approach from Napoli for Danilo D’Ambrosio. The full back is not for sale and over the coming weeks Inter officials will meet with D’Ambrosio’s representatives to reach an agreement over a renewal.

I’m surprised that so many think D’ambro has played well recently? Maybe it’s because he has been so bad before, that his current average performance by comparison seems good. In my opinion he is never going to be more that average, and certainly not the quality Inter should aim for. If someone actually wants to buy him, please let him go. And then focus on getting fullbacks that can actually improve the team.

Unless we find a solid starter for our FB position, it would be extremely dumb to sell Dumbo to a direct rival. He’s been good in the past couple of games and can play CB, RB, and LB. solid bench player..
tbf he’s the only fullback that playing well for us lately.. we need him, in case if we fail to sign another fullback this january.. with santon will go to sampdoria if he don’t fail his medical again, we need d’ambrosio more than any other fullback in our team.. and he can play as CB too if needed.. so i don’t really have problem with this..

2 years!? i think less than that.. i think it’s common strategy by every team when you have a player you don’t need to sell, persuit by other team, you try to offer him a new contract.. first to make sure he’s loyal to the club, second to increase his price and our bargaining position..
Yeah you do that for good players. In my opinion D’umbro is just average and could be easily replaced anytime.. But thats just my opinion.

If we want to sell him to a direct rival, it must be with a high price. We dont want the same story as pirlo, seedorf, cannavaro, etc happens all over again.
