Gabigol’s former club Santos had previously been linked with a move to re-sign their former hitman during the January transfer window.
However, according to reports in his homeland, the São Paulo-based club have given up hope of taking either Gabigol or Robinho “home.”
They will now pursue other targets such as Wolfsburg’s Bruno Henrique and Clayton of Atlético-MG.
