Hope we can get loan deal for Gnoukori (or we develop him our self? but with the competition in mid, I’m pessimist), also selling Melo would be a positive campaign in this mercato.

It seems like any deals done this month need to be loans with options/obligations to buy to avoid putting us further in the hole under FFP for this season. With that being said, I think Darmian is a MANDATORY purchase. He can play RB and LB rather equally, and has defensive abilities equivalent to most top CBs. With him in the team, Ansaldi has more freedom to get forward, Candreva has more freedom to stay forward, and all around the team can play more “free form” knowing that we have a much more competent back line.
I’ll be honest, I don’t watch Criscito play in Russia and I have my doubts. He is already 30 and playing in Russia is not as competitive, he might be another Ansaldi. We need to get some first team quality fullbacks, not another mediocre one to add to our collection of 10 fullbacks from which noone matches the quality of the team.

Nothign we haven’t seen before, even Nagatomo and D’Ambrosio had a run of a few good matches. He isn’t playing as he did with Genoa last season and has been a disappointment so far IMO.

Exactly. I have watched Criscito at several games and I have no idea why we kept chasing him as he is just like our average dudes in the fullback positions. Nothing special about him. Just average best.
For godsake, Suning should push for two fullbacks, not just one. Today, Darmian and Vrsaljko can be acquired through loan & redemption. We have chased them for few years and there is no better time than now.
