According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roberto Gagliardini to Inter is in its final stages with only some minor details to be fixed.
The deal for Gagliardini will be a loan worth 2 million EURO and then 22.5 million EURO plus bonuses once the season is over; totaling around 27 million EURO. Both Suning and Percassi will discuss these numbers further in the coming week. The objective of the two parties is to fine tune the small details in order to ensure the 22-year-old finds himself at Inter as soon as possible. Even today there was a meeting in Zingonia, Italy between Atalanta president Antonio Percassi and Gagliardini’s agent, Giuseppe Riso to get the ball rolling on the deal.
Now Atalanta are asking themselves if they should even deploy Gagliardini against Chievo this coming Sunday at the restart of the Serie A campagin which could run the risk of Gagliardini getting injured. Ultimately, it is Atalanta coach Gasperini’s decision. What is not his decision, however, is that next week, the final details of the transaction should be completed.
