Inter is the only Italian team who is interested in Ricardo Rodriguez. The Swiss full-back is gaining attention from the Premier League, specifically Chelsea and Arsenal. As reported by The Sun, Chelsea’s Antonio Conte has prepared an offer of 21 million pounds to beat Inter and Arsenal.

Chelsea is definitely a threat to beat us to Ric Rod, but I hope he values a guaranteed starting spot over possibly facing competition from Marcos Alonso.
As a left back Alonso isn’t really competition. As a wing back Rodriguez is the better too so he’d be a starter at Chelsea either way
Chelsea’s slip to Spurs yesterday proves a static 3-4-3 system has inherent flaws. Alonso and Moses have won plenty of praise recently but as individual players they are the 2 weakest of the Chelsea team and upgrading them should be a priority for Conte. For example, imagine Rodriguez and Candreva replacing Alonso and Moses as wingbacks. Chelsea could switch between 3-4-3 and 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 at will. Of course we already have Candreva, which means we could implement the same system with Rodriguez. That’d be interesting
Periodic – Icardi – Mario
Rodriguez – Brozo – Kondo – Candreva
Murillo – Miranda – Medel
Handanovic
aka
Perisic – Icardi – Candreva
Mario – Kondo – Brozo
Rodriguez – Miranda – Medel – Murillo
Handanovic
that’d be interesting. Tbh, I’d sell Banega if that was what it took to make this happen.
