Empoli Sporting Director Marcello Carli was interviewed by PassioneInter.com regarding the transfer deals that are rumored to be taking place between Inter and Empoli.
“I categorically deny that we have started any kind of negotiation for Gabigol. We have never spoken to Inter about him and no contact regarding this has been taken. The same applied to Gnoukouri and Manaj, we’re talking about two very interesting and young players but we are not tracking them.”
In conclusion Carli was asked about a former Inter player, full-back Dimarco: “He is an Empoli player. he’s growing but he needs to have a great second half of the season. He’s very young and he’s got Pasqual ahead of him who is a master. We are however, very happy with him.”
