Sporting Director of Crotone, Giuseppe Ursino is confident that his side will be signing Assane Gnoukouri from Inter.
In an interview with TMW, he spoke about the midfielders possible loan, “What’s New? Let’s see. I’m confident for his arrival.”
There was also speculation of Crotone going for Inter’s young defender Eloge Yao Guy. Ursino had refused any contact. “Honestly we never tried.”

He didn’t impress this year but he might still have something in store for us. Loan should do good for him.
Inter need to start loaning some of our younger talent out to gain experience. For players like Gnoukouri and Yao Guy that have been involved with the first team for about 2 seasons now, and are around that 19-21 age range, they need to start seeing at least semi-consistent first team football. They’re obviously not seeing enough chances at Inter, and have been up with the first team long enough to know how to handle themselves in another environment. I think that was the mistake with Manaj, who has gotten himself into trouble with management on several occasions at Pescara already. He simply wasn’t ready, and the same goes for Gabigol, who isn’t adapted to Italian football or culture enough to just throw to some other team, and players like Pinamonti still have plenty to learn just from training with the first team, especially learning from a striker like Icardi. I hate to have to say it as often as I do, but I’ve always believed in giving credit where credit is due, and that credit needs to go to Juventus, who have had this figured out for quite some time now, and I’m really hoping Inter can learn from our past mistakes and follow a similar system to Juve for handling our young talent.
can you please give me example of juventus good handling of thier young talents
I was specifically referring to their tactic of purchasing players from a team where they were finding success and playing regularly, and immediately loaning them back to that team, in order to let them continue to grow in an already successful environment (ex. Rugani, Mandragora, Sensi, etc.). They also find loans for their players at much better teams, specifically teams that specialize in helping groom young talent like Sassuolo, Empoli, Atalanta, and Pescara, where Inter instead often sends our players to mediocre Serie B teams. Right now they have Tello loaned to Empoli, Spinazzola loaned to Atalanta, and Cerri loaned to Pescara.
In Inter’s defense they have seemed to wise up and start implementing these same tactics. We purchased Caprari and immediately loaned him back to Pescara, which seems to be paying off. We also sent Dimarco on loan to Empoli and Manaj on loan to Pescara, but I’m hoping this is the start of smarter moves for Inter. In my opinion, we should be doing the buy and loan back tactic with Gagliardini. We have a crowded midfield as is, and I don’t see him being a first team player in our current side. I think he’d be much better off continuing to grow at Atalanta, at the very least for the rest of this season. We also need to be careful about any future loan moves for Gnoukouri, Yao Guy, Miangue, and Pinamonti.
