Brazilian defender Joao Miranda has been even present for Inter since joining the club in the summer of 2015.
That relationship could however reach it’s conclusion when the Brazilian defender’s contract expires in June 2018 Calciomercato.com reveals. According to the report, no meetings between Inter and the player’s representatives are scheduled to discuss a renewal which further seem to confirm Suning’s desire not to extend the contracts of players over the age of 30.
If a contract was to be extended with a player falling within that category, the deal would not be found at the financial level that Miranda’s current deal is at seeing as how he earns €3 million net per season. Should, Miranda significantly lower his demands then a deal could be found Calciomercato concludes.

i think that if he will give a good 17/18 season he will get an extended contract or a new one with a lower salary
Sounds like speculative bullshit. And as Zoki says plenty of time to evaluate his form closer to contact expiry to see if he can play past 34.
He has made his share of mistakes this season.
In any case, there is no point extending his contract when he will be 34 when it expires. If Inter fails to get back into the CL for next season, then i would actually be in favour of selling him for whatever small fee in the summer as i doubt his motivation will be great next season if its his last and we dont have CL.
That is a full one and a half season away and at that time, Miranda will be 34. Miranda is awesome, I fucking love him leading our defense, but he has shown some decline from first arrival. Add that to the fact he will be very old by then and the contract expiring might be a blessing in disguise. Let’s deal with the renewal when it comes to it and we see if he is still good.
inter can take their sweet ass time with his renewal.
