Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported moments ago that the negotiations regarding the transfer of Roberto Gagliardini to Inter are concluding.

According to Di Marzio, a meeting has begun between the player’s agent Giuseppe Riso and representatives for Inter as a resolution between Inter and Atalanta is being reached. Also, the fact that all the Suning Director’s are present in Milano today indicates that the deal should be wrapped up today.

Di Marzio reports further that the deal could be completed today despite the fact that Atalanta coach Gasperini has included Gagliardini in his 23-man squad for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia fixture away against Juventus in Turin. As soon as the negotiations are concluded, Gagliardini will leave Atalanta’s pre-match training camp to join the rest of the Inter players.

The transfer will cost Inter around €2 million in order to loan Gagliardini from Atalanta in January, with an option to make the transfer permanent in June is set at €20 million plus bonuses. Only the last contractual details need to be ironed out before the midfielder born in 1994, undergoes his medical examinations tomorrow and becomes an Inter player, Di Marzio concludes.
