Roberto Gagliardini’s agent, Giuseppe Rea, was interviewed by Premium Sport coming out of a restaurant where he had dinner with his client.
“Duel with Juventus? The most beautiful thing is that Inter are putting their faith in a young player who represents their future, then a negotiation is always complicated. Ausilio has poken to me regarding him for quite some time now, he’s had Gagliardini on his mind for quite some time and now he finally signed him. Ausilio foght a lot to get him, and then Suning’s project is very important and Roberto liked it, so things are good like this.”
Rea was then asked if the transfer was an expenceive one to which he replied: “Players like him are priceless, I remember many young players about whom it’s been said that a lot has been spent on them and then important offers arrived. Youngsters like him are priceless. Gagliardini will make it at Inter.”
SportItalia were also present and asked him how Gagliardini felt: “He was excited which is normal given that he’s signign for an important club like Inter. It was a normal negotiation, nothing difficult. Juventus? Inter made a move first and convinced the boy that they will do everything. Player’s like him are priceless, they are investments for the future, the price doesn’t make the difference.”
