Thats what i see from pioli tactical approach in last few games. He try to insert banega into the team but seems not fit to pio system. Pio need adjust his system to accommodate banega. It doesnt mean hes not good but not the one pio really need atm. While kdog, exclude his awfull passing, is the type of player that needed by pio system. Add to that, we already sold melo n medel is having new role as cb. So it left us with only kdog in that position while gaglia is still in doubt atleast till he play couple of game with us.
Me personaly, like to keep him both. Cause it give luxury to pio to chose his tactical approach.

I know kondgobia hasn’t played to what we expect but I believe he will. He has these things in his favor. 1.He can get better.2He is Much younger than Benaga and will hold or and can increase his value while Benaga will at 30. So much hate on Kondgobia when earlier this season Benaga was at fault for about 3 goals directly. Everyone to there own opinion anyway.Btw with Verratti on his way or some other high profile mid coming in the summer, maybe both of them will be sold. Forza inter.

neither player has done well this season. Banega if sold for anything is a profit. If we sell Kondogbia now it will be at a huge loss. If the kid can get some halfway decent game maybe someone will talk themselves into him.
Kondo failed me over and over for 1 and half year, we signed banega for free and we sold kova for him, thats why i expect so much from him

Banega’s a technical player, I don’t think losing his pace would make him much less effective. I see him playing for us for a long time. Kondo on the other hand doesn’t even look like he can reach the level Banega is at now
I would built around Banega and Joao Mario, sell Brozovic ( I think he rich his potential and its just not enough) and probably Perisic, get Gabs in on the flank and give a few more time to Kondogbia. He has talent but he looks like another Balotelli to me……Gaglairdini as a DMF with Medel as a backup and we are done. I would also sell Kandreva sooner rather than later.

I watched every single game. I am just NOT impressed with Perisic. He is scoring goals, he moves nicely, he looses a lot of goals as well. I thiNK Gabigol probably would do better and he play L or R. I agree for Medel, I think Gagliardini might be a better DMF. I did not say Medel as backup to Kondogbia, you read that wrong. I said Medel as backup to Gagliardini.

We have plenty of replacements for Kondogbia. Just because he plays as a CDM doesn’t mean he is a CDM. He is a horrible defensive midfielder, his skills suit box-to-box midfielder much more. If we were to put Brozo or J Mario as CDM instead of Kondogbia I highly doubt they’d do worse.

The truth is Banega has played is best games for us with a real destroyer to cover behind him – at the start of the year he had Medel and then later on it was Melo. I think he needs to know he have a quality player behind him how “has his back” like Mascherano in the national team…

Beside, Banega is “strong” in defensive work, just like Palacio – which is totally crazy because Pala has an insane working rate compared to Banega and the same site claims one of Kondogbia’s pros are his “concentration!!!” and “dribbling”! I don’t think I’ve seen anyone dribble like a cow before besides him!
I do not hate Banega – he is on paper a brilliant player, but I don’t think he has provide much to the squad in the games he has played. And playing in the same pos. as Mario makes me think we should sell him -> Mario has to play ALL the time from now until the summer with no European games in between!

I know he isn’t.. he is a CM that have played as a CDM in Atlanta during the autumn and done a good job.. But yes he is a similar player too Brozo, Mario and Kondogbia and Kondogbia is the one that lack in every aspect. Can’t defend, cant attack, does not run and so on, therefore would it be most logical too sell him..
As for the CDM place I think we can wait till the summer if we are linked with players like Gustavo and Lucas after all Medel is back and Gagliardini has a whole autumn as a CDM with him in the back..
