At the end of the Inter-Chievo match, the Inter striker, Mauro Icardi, spoke with Sky Sports:
“We had a great game. In the first half we lacked a little in front of goal, but in the second half we were able to score goals, and that’s what matters. In the last games we’ve shown great character. We are working well during the week and in the game we are reaping the benefits. At the beginning of the season, there was a bit of confusion, now the coach is working hard and manages to get inside the players’ heads and making us better.”
National Team? “I will do my job as always, if the CT* (Commissario Tecnico) calls me, I’ll be ready.”
Transfer to China? “I renewed my contract at the beginning of the season and I’m happy here. There is time to go to China, at the end of my career (laughs).”
