According to La Repubblica Piero Ausilio is in contact with the agent of Gonzalo Rodriguez to talk about a possible transfer to Inter. The defender and Fiorentina have not found an agreement yet and the 33 year old player is thinking about other possibilities. Inter could make theit first offer in the next weeks.

We don’t want to extend Miranda’s contract because he will turn 32 soon. Why going after a grandpa and making Fiorentina angry, just before we want to submit an offer for Bernandesci?! SMH
He´s 32 years old but turns 33 next April according to Wiki! And getting him in on a free would be great ’cause he´s a superb defender!
He’s fuckin great, I won’t mind gettin him for free, even if he is 33 yrs old, he could help a lot.
Looking at it from a depth perspective would be a good move if we dont commit more than 2 years. I rather have a 32 year old Rodriguez compared to Rano or Andreolli as a backup.
