Sky Sport Italia expert Gianluca Vialli shared his thoughts on Inter’s renaissance under Suning and Stefano Pioli.
“Inter have chosen a distinguished coach because the listened to the sporting part at the club who know the Serie A very well, something which never happened earlier under Thohir. I didn’t see Inter like this since the first months under Mancini, or even as far back as the days of Mourinho. Now the atmosphere is much more positive, and the choices much more definitive on the pitch.”
Finally, the former Juventus and Chelsea player gave his thought on Gagliardini stating: “When I saw that Pioli had decided to play him from the start I was a bit perplexed, I thought maybe it was a gamble and instead he gave a great performance with personality. I give him a 7+ rating. Pioli told him to keep things simple and it worked.”
How many of you will choose pioli than mancini and de boer? I think most of us will pick mancini and de boer than pioli since the first two have better achievement than the later, the fact that inter under pioli is a better team is a blessing in disguise… something that no one can imagine before
nah you’re wrong, both Mazzarri Mancini known Serie A, and under Thohir. But the first one you know, he’s not Inter material, the second one, the one who cry like a baby when Liverpool beats us on 2007 ago.
The Liverpool game should be viewed in context. Unlucky injuries, coupled with Torres diving around like he had been hit by a train every time he was tackled, to get players booked/suspended/sent off, and a referee that swallowed everything. The referees in Villencia & Villareal games at that time were also shocking. Regardless Inter were not going to win the CL under Mancini, but a lot of players he brought to the club did win it. Often, the bad that a manager does seems to lives after them the good is oft interred with their bones. I think we all can see positives from the Mancini era, but very few from Mazzari or FDB. The current manager gives me most confidence since Jose.
