i agree we need FB but right now no good FB available in the market under inter conditions of loan with right to purchase unless we succeed in selling ranochia , santon , nagatomo and biabiani so we can raise fund to pay the German for Rodriguez

I see these comments a lot (the fullbacks before anything else, not the all caps thankfully). Once FFP is out of the way in the summer we aren’t restricted to penny pinching and trade offs in one area of the pitch vs another. We will definitely get top fullbacks as seen in Rodriguez pursuit – hopefully with a RB too. This isn’t compromised by interest in other players as Suning plan to spend up across the board. CB, mid, wingers etc incoming aren’t going to prevent fullbacks arriving… and ending the reign of terrifying mediocrity we’ve endured for too many years now. No need o panic when a rumor (!?) is for a non fullback position.
i think he means that we need a FB right now! and that should be number one priority as it is our weakest position right now.
We still have Miranda, Medel and Murillo, plus Andreolli, the CB is enough.
That’s 3 quality central defenders, assuming they maintain form which is far from guaranteed. I like Andreoli but I wouldn’t want to rely on him for extended periods if there are injuries etc if we are competing for title and in Europe, and that definitely seems the plan. One more quality or top prospect center back is a good addition to the squad.
i dont know how comfortable i would feel relying on a duo of Murillo and Andreolli facing off against juve, napoli, roma, etc…
Murillo isn’t Inter quality and Miranda is getting old and Andreolli is a fine back up but not more…
Murrillo has potential. Remember that he is just 24. CBs don’t ripe until 28. I don’t think Romagnoli or Rugani has done any better.

people in this site was too harsh about murillo, he is good CB and good prospect what makes him bad is because FDB system that put the defense looks so bad. He is future leader on Inter’s defence.
True he’s still quite young… maybe he´ll learn and improve, but now we need quality at the back (Manolas) until he has learned enough to be a starter. Right now I only see Murillo as a bit better version of JJ
Comparing JJ and Murillo is disrespect to Murillo. JJ had great physique, no doubt about that. But he had zero brain and also terrible in passing. Jason have done his share of mistakes but he reads the game much better than JJ plus he also showed his ball skills by the goal he scored.
I’d definitely choose to have a world class defender in Manolas or Lindolf, but I still rather see Murillo instead of Medel cause he has been good..
