Javier Zanetti has been appointed as the 17th member of the organising committee of FIFA Competitions. Upon his appointment he had the following to say: “It is indeed a matter of pride for me to play this role. My new career is challenging, but it is giving me great satisfaction. it is important for me to remain part of the Nerazzurri family and I hope to make an equally important contribution to the Organising Committee of the FIFA competitions.”
Inter also sent Zanetti a congratulatory message: “From everyone at FC Internazionale, congratulations and a big good luck to Javier Zanetti for this important new adventure.”
