Roma defender Kostas Manolas is one of Inter’s main transfer targets ahead of next season.
The 25-year-old’s contract expires in 2018 and, according to Premium Sport’s Paolo Bargiggia, there are no signs of him renewing his contract with the Giallorossi.
The Nerazzurri have reached a draft agreement with the Greek’s agent and are reportedly willing to offer €42m to secure his services.
Should Suning continue in their current vein, it is likely that Manolas will arrive in Appiano Gentile during the summer transfer market.

Am i the only one whos not fond of this transfer? Manolas doesn’t strike me as someone with insanely good IQ but someone who is ok defensively but relies on his fast pace and physical ability. you seem him go to the ground alot with tackles. compared to someone like miranda who is always at the right place right time.
He’s the most realistic quality CB. Marquinho really hard to sign. I also like Stefan De Vrij. Besides, I also like the idea to weakened direct opponent. Napoli tough. While Gonzalo Rodriquez also good but not for a long term. If we want more Italians, we already lost another promising talent, Caldara. If outside Serie A players, maybe Lindelof also good signing.
Just like having a great pair of strikers that compliment each other in stile you also need a pair of defenders that are different in stile but who works well together. In attack it’s often a strong tall dude in the box paired with a smaller, more technical dude behind or next to him (or two of them on the wings).
In defense I actually see the paring of a physical very strong, hard tackling man marker like Manolas with he footballing super intelligent, very elegant and technically very strong Miranda as a perfect paring!

I wont mind if we go for koulibaly, bonuci, or marquinhos. But if its between manolas n lindelof i prefer manolas.
