Stefano Pioli was interviewed by Inter Channel ahead of Sunday’s fixture away to Palermo at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.

“After 120 tough minutes physically and psychologically in the TIM Cup against Bologna, we’ve looked at those who played the entire match. we’re evaluating in order to have a squad that’s ready given that it’s the third match in the space of a week. I’m very happy about the physical condition of my players. We want and we must insist on continuing this positive moment, knowing that our opponents are very determined and so we must be prepared. The players have understood the importance of playing as a team. We’re attentive until the end, to always remain competitive in a match, and this could give as an advantage.”

Pioli was then asked about the fact that Inter will have many supporters in Palermo for the match stating: “It makes us happy, we need them. It’s an advantage that we need to capitalize on. I repeat it’s a special match, a difficult match, so we need to play very, very well.”
