After the 1-0 win against Palermo, INTER Channel interviewed Antonio Candreva about his assist and the match:
“My cross? The important thing is that it earned us 3 points, we wanted to give continuity but we have not done anything yet. We knew that the enemy would be difficult to deal with. Fortunately, the rain came down strong when we went ahead. The first half was positive, although it was not enough. Luckily came the opening goal. I had a ball goal and sometimes it is better to keep it lower but it was good to get Posavec.”
Candreva then spoke about the match: “We made a new little preparation before the match, before 2017 Pioli spent the time training us, we worked hard and I hope this can help us in the next matches. We’re chasing the others, we have to think about ourselves and go on. Whatever opponent we meet we have to have the same approach. Here other teams before us have struggled, we knew that the opponent was tough and we have dealt with them appropriately.”
