Sassuolo, Squinzi: “We hope to keep Berardi here permanently.”

“Berardi will definitely stay at Sassuolo until the end of this season and we’ll look to keep him here permanently,” said Giogrio Squinzi, owner of Sassuolo, said of his star. The Sassuolo owner did not rule out the departure of Defrel, however.

Squinzi was then asked about another player of intestest: Gregoire Defrel. “He’s a player we like a lot. We believe in him. He’s helped to alleviate the lack of Berardi during the first half of the season and we hope to have him for the rest of the season,” concluded the Italian.
