The news was doing rounds for a long time and now it’s official! Assane Gnoukouri has joined Udinese after passing their medical.
In an official statement Inter today announced:
“F.C. Internazionale announces the transfer of midfielder Assane Gnoukouri on loan to Udinese until June 30, 2017 with the right to purchase option”
I think the option to buy is worth €4m and we have no buyback clause. I hope we don’t come to regret this. But he needed to go if he wasn’t going to play, I just wish we’d put a buy back clause.

yep, all the rumors seems to be true; we have sold him (if Udinese trigger the clause next summer) and haven’t got a buy-back clause, BUT have secured ourselves a big percentage of a future sale…
Seems like we have big plans for midfield since he has been sold off like that. Right now we have Gagliardini, Broso, Kondogbia for his role, and in the future it could seem like we are planing for bigger names and more quality than Gnou could give us… At least that’s my take on his transfer 🙂
