Not world class to me no; he is doing really well in defense (which is his natural position) but to be world class you need to be strong all over, and Medel lacks sometimes positioning and surely height – he´s is quite small which makes him struggle a bit in the air!

I am OK with that idea,but still if you look back at 2010,we didn’t really had many italian players,our core was made of Zanetti,Cambiasso,Samuel,Cezar,Stankovic all of them played in Inter for a long time and loved Inter and that was what made them fight for the club so i think that it is not really about the nationality but more of a players character,and getting a player who suits our teams mentality is crucial IMO so i think we shouldn’t just go for italian players no matter what,we need players that can improve the team and add character and winning mentality…i would say give italian player a serious thouht and go for them if they can really add quality but do not make it only condition

And for left back f.x Rodriguez seems like the best out there, even though I´m very impressed by the young Italian, left footed, super fast and good crosser from Torino (Antonio Barreca) – I think he´ll be great one day, but Rodriguez is better!
And for the first time in I don’t know how many years, we see so many SUPER talented Italians play around in Serie A, preforming really well. Plus another thing; if Suning wants to invest big money, buying Italian players from other Italian clubs means the money Suning invest stays in Italy and makes the hole league stronger – not like In France or England, where the clubs mainly buys foreigners and therefor their money leaves the league making other leagues richer. -> I want Inter back on top of the world and Serie A back as nr. 1 in the league again!
I’m all in for getting young players,for now we should concantrate on improving the team with already compleate players (As you mentioned Barreca could be great in few years,but Rodriguez is already good,maybe not great but more experianced still young and already prety good),then starting from next season (When we also get rid of FFP) i want us to go and buy some young prospects ! 🙂
