Bad performance tonight, lacking concentration, determination and energy! We supposed to lose sooner or later and it’s good that’s happening in Coppa, not in Serie A! For me, this game is wake up call, there was signs here and there in all previous games, but with character, fighting spirit till the end and a little luck, we was able to win. Except fullbacks, when it’s obvious that we have problems, in my opinion we have problems in creative part of midfield and we have to look for trequartista. Another problem is set pieces, we can’t create opportunity to save our life. Anyway, i hope that this defeat will bring us down to earth, because we still have huge amount of work and still lacking quality to compete at the highest level. But i believe in this management and their ideas, we just have to be patient, because nothing good can happen overnight!

Well Icardi and Joao Mario atleast only played 45′. Gagliardini didn’t play either. Medel barelly played. Miranda didn’t play the whole game(that wasn’t due to tactics tho). The game itself was very entertaining. Lazio had a lot of chances in the first half, mainly by Felipe Anderson outclassing Ansaldi. I think the result for first half is fair. We didn’t play good in the first half but I aploud the boys for fighting even if it’s 2-0 and 10v11, we almost made it. I have nothing good to say about this ref. The penalty and especially the Miranda’s red card was given too easily, Immobile fell down easily and it could’ve just as well been not even a foul. Hoedt then made a foul from behind on Icardi that the ref deemed not worthy of a second yellow. Ref could atleast be consistent. What pissed me off the most is that there were 2 goals, 2 red cards, plenty of yellow cards, subs and falling to the ground in the second half, yet he blows the whistle at 93:40 even though it was 4′ extra time. What the FUCK is that? Seriously? Didn’t gain any respect for Lazio either. They were very aggressive in tackles and made fouls often. They didn’t dominate the match to clearly deserve the win. They dived from the first minute of second half, I think 2 of their players were rolling on the ground for no reason before 48th minute began.
Anyway, I’m surely pissed off and biased in this review but most of it holds truth.
Our winning streak was bound to end sooner or later, and maybe it’s for the better to lose in Coppa Italia rather than Serie A. This way we don’t have extra fixtures until the end of the season and we can focus on Serie A. I liked our spirit though. We were 10v11 and 0-2 down and we’ve been more attacking than before the red card. We didn’t give up and the second equalizing goal almost came. We just need to transfer this hunger to win from the second half of the game to Juventus game and also start with a good menality. Pioli must work on that, so we don’t crumble like we did with Mancini after the Christmas break.

On the first hafl some Lazio cunt also hit that late tackle on Perisic at the box. The difference between Perisic and Immobile was that Perisic stayed on his feet, even when the tackle was late. Immobile dived like a little cunt, even when the contact was minimum.

Also I want to mention that on the first half when Perisic almost got 1vs1 with the keeper and some Lazio cunt tackled him late, there was a clear contact in my eyes, but the difference with Perisic and Immobile was that Perisic stayed on his feet and did not dive like a cunt. Immobile exaggerated his falling sooo much and Miranda did not deserve a red, there was barely a contact there. The ref killed the game.
Now we must just believe that we can bounce back and focus on the Juve game. FORZA INTER!
