I think €45m is a fair amount for Manolas in this market. The standard transfer sum for top players tends to be around 1.5x their base price. Manolas’ base price is €28m according to Transfermarkt, putting his transfer sum around €42m, and paying an extra €3m due to Roma being a rival is fair.
Is he worth that much?
In reality hell no ,but he is a good CB and with todays prices 30-40M sounds just about right with few more inserted as bonuses it could be around 45M…Anyway i’m apsolutly against this inflated prices today,but what can you do i would maybe give 25M for Manolas lol…
But hey,since we have money now i do not really care how much we spend,i just care we get a good players and IMO Manolas is certanly good player with experiance in Serie A..
