Overall, I’m satisfied with our performance tonight. We played like equal on their ground, creating a lot of opportunities, especially in the first half and caused a lot of problems. We still lacking a few quality players, especially in defense, but in creative part of the midfield too. But we’re close and now we gaining confidence and testing character, which we will need in future to be competitive on the highest level.
Pioli was very good tactically tonight, nailed the system 3-4-3, using well D’Ambrosio to stop Cuadrado and Murillo to cover Mandzukic. First two substitutions was ok too, but only thing that I’m regretting is that especially after Cuadrado substitution, we doesn’t need anymore D’Ambrosio and he can take the risk to put Banega in his place. In the end we was losing and it wasn’t matter if we will concede one more, but we can create more opportunities with one more attacking player on the field.

For how we play, a draw would be a fair result. We do cancelled them out for most of the time. But hat off to them, they really close down their penalty box pretty well. Cuadrado strike is what separate it all.

Most of the time we shut them down and we have a lot of opportunities in the first half. Even in the second we have few good attacks, that couldn’t develop in the best way. And after the 70-75 minutes we doesn’t have enough energy to push hard, but this team with a few quality reinforcements have a good future.

He could have tried the 3 man defense in some other game before this one to see how it works. Medel suffered tonight, he’s not yet in his 100 %. He changed the positions of every player almost. That doesn’t help. Actually I think the coach is more to be blamed on this match.
But the players could have done way better too, Icardi,Eder, Brozovic who in my opinion doesn’t belong in Inter for the lack of respect he has. He has shown this with every coach that we have had.
I respect your opinion brother, but Pioli chose the 3 men defense because he has no fullbacks especially after the disastrous play by Andaldi against Lazio, the players played and excellent game in the first half but the late goal they conceded changed the balance of the game so they had to try with same pressure but they did lots of errors in passing and decision making, this is down to many factors i.e refereeing, juve’s pressure in the fist 10 mins of the second half..
Pioli had to sacrifice the midfield to field in attackers so we were forced to play long balls and eventually losing the majority of the balls. And bear in mind, we have 8 attackers, maybe 6 midfielders and those four defenders, so our choices in players is very limited and so are our tactical options, that’s why I can’t blame anyone for the loss

The games he had under De Boer tell it best, he might be a bit weaker than Ansaldi and D’Ambrosio. But he reads the game well, he has been vital in so many cases in defense because of that ability to read the game. Is good offensively, way better than the both of Ansaldi and D’Ambrosio and his crossing ability is quite decent not to mention his dribbling.
And like I said the players are not used to this formation, so you can’t justify it with that. Pioli wanted the team to be smaller, he publicly said that he has asked for it. So that’s not a valid reason as well.

Good game overall for neutrals, really exciting. Both sides produced a lot of chances and kept going at it. In the end, Juventus on their home ground was just a bit too hard of a task. Though I think most people wouldn’t argue too muc hif the game ended as a draw. As far as our lineup goes, we should’ve started with Kondogbia instead of Brozović, he played much better. Subbing Eder for Candreva didn’t really make much sense. Also really nice tactics by Pioli to deploy Murillo on RB to counter Mandžukič on the wing. In the end it’s a defeat but I think we played well and can continue the good form. Pointless red for arguing by Perišić…
