Gabriel Barbosa was interviewed by Inter Channel after today’s training session at Appiano Gentile, the first ahead of the away fixture on Sunday against Bologna.
“I’m pleased that I came on against Empoli on Sunday. We played well and we’re delighted we got the three points. I’m continuing to train hard and I’m already thinking about the next match, which is always the most important one.”
Gabigol was then asked about how his adaptation to Italian football is going to which the former Santos player replied: “I’m getting better and better. I feel stronger, faster and more Italian. The understanding between the coach, my team-mates and myself is getting better. I’m getting more and more minutes on the pitch and I’m always trying to train in the right way. The weather in Milano? It’s a little bit cold but I’m very happy here. Everyone is helping me, giving me advice and the fact I’m playing with champions who I’d previously only seen in video games is quite amazing. I’m ecstatic about wearing the Inter shirt.”
In conclusion Gabigol was asked about when he thinks he’ll score his first goal for the Nerazzurri: “It will happen when God wills it to happen. I’m just looking to work and to help the team. I want to thank the fans for everything they’re doing for me.”

hey gabigol, you are ours future… prove it to us right now
Sorry where not in Europe or coppa any more would had gotten more game time
You’re going to take Inter’s popularity to new heights man. Keep working hard and don’t give up.
Italia is not a good environtment for the young, here we need maturity because of high tactic and off the ball movement.
Italy is fine, Inter as a club is not, especially not in this build up phase they are in.
hate to agree on you on this one, but hopefully under sunning this should change. I mean gagliardini and mario is considerably young and still in their growing phase, but both played superbly at inter
Joao mario is already 24 and Gaglia will be 23 in 1½ month.
There is quite a big difference in maturity of a players who are 18-20 and then players who are 23+.
It requires a lot more work to properly nurture the talent of a 20 year old into becomming a real professional footballer, than it does to further develop a 23 year old. The period between 20-23 is probably the most important phase in the development of a player.
the fans love you so much man I haven’t even seen that since r9 days every touch you take the fans cheer, but make sure to pay us back bro
and thank you for your patience, hope your will score soon
