Its not very surprising.
Since 2012 our attack has not been very fluid, too much reliance on crosses etc etc. You rarely get many penalties playing like that relying on coincidence. Napoli have played very fluently in the attack for many years, so its no surprise they get a lot of pens, i believe Roma gets quite many as well (this season they have already gotten 11…)
Meanwhile we have had many ridiculous defenders prone to brainfarts like Ranocchia…
This is why video replay needs to be introduced into a sport where human error occurs more often than an infant needs a diaper change.
